That was spot on! I'm a true winter & I love being pale, in fact I embrace it as much as possible especially on my face. Sometimes instead of foundation I only use a creamy white pencil on the center parts of my face, blend it with my fingertips, curl my lashes (no mascara), line my lips with a lip stain (also using some of it as blush & smudge some below the brow bone for a feline look) & finish off with a tiny amount of lip gloss on the lips and call it day. Your videos on true winter makeup have helped me so much product wise as well as inspiration ✨️ Thank you 😊

That single video and using a white pencil as a highlighter became my entire makeup identity for ages, it felt like! 😂 I still have the white NYX Jumbo Pencil in my collection, so I must try this technique again! Hi Zack! I love how you transformed the daytime look for going out at night. I especially enjoy the reminder to just have fun with makeup. I find that a lot of the conversation around seasonal colour to be very prescriptive - I feel like it's another tool on your belt to help you quickly zero in on "safe", reliable colours. I like how your mom is trying out lipstick at home. I remember my mother say how her mother used to always put on a full face, even if she were at home, because guests could drop by at any moment (I suppose she was "at home" in a Victorian sense). This is perfect! I love how you combined all of the Winters together. I actually do a similar trick with the blush being too harsh, I run in my powder foundation to make it look more natural. I can’t wait to see what is in store for the other seasons!

Hi Andi!!! Greys can be tricky to wear, but using a bit of pink blush in the socket helps grey to feel more lively on the eyes! The Essence Blush in 08 Berry Cheeks is GORGEOUS, and a tiny bit goes such a long way as it is pretty pigmented! I adore the L'Oréal Colour Riche lipsticks, and Montmartre is one of my absolute favourites - something about this particular shade reminds me of some of the MAC lipsticks! What type of blush color would counteract/ cover/ camouflage some of the rosacea redness? Will anything? Should I skip blush and only use bronzer? 🤔😬

Blush and rosacea can be tricky, for sure! I love more neutral, muted shades for calming down the rosacea flush - some of my favourites are Hourglass Mood Exposure, Laura Mercier Fresco, Lancôme Meil Glace, and MAC Naturally Flawless can help to soften the redness. For Christmas, I gifted one of my friends with rosacea, the Hourglass Ambient Strobe Lighting Blush in Incandescent Electra, and she said that it helps tone down the redness and brighten her overall complexion. Also, some K Beauty brands have brightening blushers with a bit of a pastel yellow shade that could also work well for calming down a rosacea flush; the first one that comes to mind is the Peripera Pure Blushed Sunshine Cheek in 21 Proud Coral from the Maltese Archive Collection! I hope these shade suggestions are helpful! 🩷🩷🩷
