So before, if i was farming 800c for drops and xp and whatnot. With the new xp changes in mind, i should be farming at 300c now?

Above 300C you get 25% of added corruption xp bonus. If going +100 corruption does not reduce your clear speed it is still worth it. In 1.1 800C is still 675% xp vs 848% in 1.0

As far as getting your first character to rank 12 (COF) is it best to rush 200 corruption and try and farm those outer xp echos on the way to level 100 ? Or just push to 400 corruption outright

Probably push to 300 as thats where the penalty starts, grab xp tomes along the way that you see, then fully prioritize xp tomes. Unless you character is absolutely broken the extra xp beyond 300 corr with the new penalty will probably not justify the reduced clear speed, at least until you have really good gear.

yeah i have a same question, is there any point to not run higher corruption except the exp nerf?

I think you are correct, not sure that alone is worth it. LP chance, XP, and Gold all either dont scale or are heavily diminished.

in 1.0 i usually reached 500-700c each build then switch to another character. There was no point going further bc it's just a waste of time. With 1.1 seems like 300-500c is the sweet spot, and i'm happy with that

Boring, favor gain should be increased to 25% per rank or more. Getting such little favor is gonna be so freakin' boring. Can already see the backlash coming EHGs way..

I feel like 10% or 20% per rank plus a flat 0.5 * of corruption bonus applies to favor rather than 0.25 above 300, 0.05 above 1000 would be better, this new system feels to much like "these are the exact the boundaries we expect you to play within", but I don't know, balancing extreme levels of corruption is probably difficult

The early ranks don't require as much exp to get though right? So getting the bonus per rank early woll be quick, say rank 5ish in a day

With how strong some builds can get even 300 right now is a total joke, but maybe that is okay - beyond a certain point it is just a flex now

They had already said previously they consider any build which can reliably clear 300 corr to be a good build. They just made it official now with the penalty past 300 and we can assume they set 1000 as a balance limit for exceptionnal builds. I'm willing to bet, over time, they will nerf any build going beyond 1000. Their message is very clear.

@@RamzaBehoulve I expect many builds that "could" go over 1000 will instead invest into movement speed / aoe / damage to just clear 1000 faster instead
