Yes use four hoppers leading into the one that was under the mud

Make sure to turn off the farm before leaving. If not working Turn all blocks below the pistons to mud blocks and 4 hoppers below those mud blocks connecting to another hopper to a side which leads to the item sorter. And make sure you didn't build the trident killer too underground because when you leave it open the game thinks that the mud block is a half block (slab) so it'll go inside or through the mud.

my car-brain and minecraft-brain both went off when I saw the "1000/h." i know what I searched and what I was looking for but in that moment, I got really excited to see a mud truck or a sleeper or something. whether or not you see this, I wish you grossly efficient gold farms, trucks too built to be practical and a good day/night.

Turn off the trident killer before leaving the area, it’s glitching not breaking. Also the sorter works, try downloading my world to see what is different

@@BlazedMCs ended up replacing all the blocks under the trident killer with hoppers that lead into each other then to the sorter. Added a second round of sorting out flesh, nugs, and bars before getting sent to a melting chest with furnace setup. Only a few things get through the sorter occasionally now... Also I never walked away with it running, seems like that's asking for bugs and glitches

I’m having this issue too, thinking of increasing the drop to the kill chamber. Because of the amount of pigment I’m also getting some escape the kill chamber and going through the glass blocks. Presumably due to the amount of mobs not dying immediately

You can just get one trident at first it's very easy to get , you will get one in 20 mins if you were so unlucky but the result deserves it Note: if you have only one trident don't bring more than one armadillo because it could lag your game a lot

Basically take an amazing tutorial and water it down with llama spit and boom you call it “blazedmc”. Prowl with over 100k subs has called this all out before.
