nah Ronan's refine is COOKING. Res based Sandstorm? Slap that into S tier. Xane as well cuz getting DC, and a ton of other useful effects is busted with the supports that go around nowadays.

Xane refinement actually makes him a very good unit in a Sorenball. The best way to use him is likely with a Near Save with big stats such as Marni alongside someone with a high visible speed stat. One could go -DEF on Xane to potentially absorb any shenanigans from Laeradr and maintain some level of consistency as a Far Savior as he does not care how much visible stats he actually got. Add on his ability to be both fast and tanky at the same time and he could be very annoying to take out. I do think he's the dark horse of the refine batch. Also, my time has come.

I think Selena is made with Lyn ring in mind, since she is a known Bolting user. I things the weapon even has some sort of bolting animation

Ronans refine is good, but I really want to see who actually uses him in PVP content because there’s a difference between a good unit and a usable unit in the current meta.

The only thing I would’ve loved to have seen for LMicaiah would’ve been the penalty cleansing similar to attuned micaiah. Other than that I like that she sets herself apart from attuned by embracing that nuke role. We really were missing a strong armor effective nuke in the current meta for some of the absurd units like nidhoggr.

Ronan has an important niche for high-level AA players: handing out tempo allows Saul etc to chip down Marni w/ Reopening and actually kill her on their own if they have offensive specials. If you have a built up healer and hate facing 5 maxed Marnis every AA run, this makes his refine worth it on its own.

Where did the Ronan dev come from? I notice the comments really want to glaze Ronan a lot. I personally don't really don't know what to think about him. He has a lot of things. That's about it. Just a lot of things. Missing some key effects like DR piercing/halving, NFU, etc. Everything else is going to vary in how impactful it is. What's really going to hold Ronan back is the same problem holding Duessel back. He's a premium 5* comparable to some F2P characters. Duessel is comparable to Ashnard and technically even better in terms of weapon due to some key upgrades, but you would still rather use Ashnard cause you can merge him up, and he's a flier so he can gain a bunch of utility elsewhere. Ronan is like a premium Seteth, but you would still rather have Seteth for the same reasons mentioned above with Ashnard. Ultimately there is one very simple problem he is dealing with. The meta right now is very physical heavy. You make a list of the top 10 threats right now, most likely 8 out of the 10 are physical damage dealers. So being res focused is a very huge problem. If you're going ot be res focused you effectively need to be like Miccy and have a lot of out of combat utility, and the things he has are things Seteth already provides. Sure 2 Seteths are better than one but that's not the point. I can see him still being a good nuke, but you have to keep in mind what he is competing with in that category, and it's not even close

What in the world is that refine for Ronan? Perfect example of what I said about FEH giving special attention to random characters because Holy Christ why'd Ronan of all characters get such a crazy refine. You know the only reason they gave Sonia Essence Drain is because they made Nidhoggr. I guarantee you that if Nidhoggr didn't exist, she'd get a completely different refine. Anyway Time to give mine that Laguz Friend I've been saving for her refine. Poor Lex, honestly was excited because it ment I could finally update mine. Guess he's going to still be on the bench.

Lex's refine might be better than it looks at first glance. I've seen a Japanese player take out NY!Nidhoggr with a +10, low investment Lex with G Duel 4, Windsweep, Joint Drive Atk and Seteth support.

Okay, for me personally, I think Legendary Micaiah won my highest respect for this refine even though she got TP4 as her secondary C skill slot she seems at least better to not get doubled easily, so I like it I think Legendary Micaiah is at least at A- tier for my perspective in comparison to D+ tier.
