From what I see the only new option is Maximum frames per second? Everything else seems about the same. Max FPS is for ingame, and you'd usually have that as high as possible, and the dashboard max fps is just for the menus. If you want to use less battery and generate less heat on the menus, lower the dashboard max FPS.

one thing I notice about the Area lights option is your lasers or guns reflected properly on windows and it has an accurate light pattern depends on the shape of the lights

have you tested vulkan vs dx11?? How is vulkan 30% slower when the benchmark videos on youtube show a small difference (with no noticeable improvement or it being worse off than dx11)

yeah use dx11 if you want a stutterfest :) max fps means nothing, consistancy is important.

Nice! this was just what i was looking for. FIY: u really have a good voice for yt videos but showing ur face is kinda disturbing what we want to watch what ur showing. You talk very "compactly" so it causes ppl to look at you to not miss out on what ur saying instead of just listening to ur words which is very easy to do!

@@daoma6067 they hotfix patched it yesterday evening ... it was previous tide to fog scaling now its on the r_shadows false command wich is restricted now from normal games , only doable in demo mode.

I am not sure you want to turn off shadows fully. I have found people hiding on roofs, due to their shadows.

If you're on potato pc just use streched with lowest render and all low, tested, best fps like that you gonna see pixels but it is what it is

Screen space AO i would just leave off. Everything thing looks murky with it on low, off gets rid of that.

What CPU are you using, I have been GPU bottle necked when my FPS drops. I have a 5700x3D.

@@Azsunes I have a 3600x and a Rx 6700xt I have some CPU bottleneck in my system but my GPU usage is alot lower than what it should be

​@r0lfu_ I had the same setup and the r5 3600 bottle necks the 6700xt so so hard. Cs2 was my comparison, with the 3600 I was around the 300 fps range and with the 5600x I was in the 500 range. That cpu is just too weak for the 6700xt

Don't use borderless, always full screen, there's input delay.
