So many of the patterns coming out by new creaters were already done so many times in the past. I am 63 years old and been sewing since a teenager. And many of them are so simple you don't need to buy the pattern. I think that is why vintage patterns are so popular. They had more detail, style, design, and several different ways to make it in one pattern.
