I installed a Sicass Racing key switch eliminator on my 350 EXC-f and it works great. Never have to remember to turn the key on or off so no dead batteries. Highly recommended.

Any issues with flame out? First 4 miles of my 2020 ktm 500exc-f stalled 3 times when i would pull in the clutch approaching a stop or slowing down to make a a turn.

Chris Blanchard I have the 18 as well... and it did the same shit on my way home from the dealer... I was so pissed off if I didn’t pick it up as they were closing I would’ve brought it right back... but I got to doing some reading and it’s all the emissions crap... I deleted all that... opened up the muffler and the intake...and added a fuel controller and a different injector rail and some other things ... and now it’s exactly what I thought I was getting

I think its a pretty dialed machine. Took it out today on some double track trails and it was amazing in stock set up! If you can find a new 2018 left, you can save some cash too!

I think the varying rpm thing is mostly a 2 stroke break in thing. I may be wrong though

I have read and heard lots of things. Im thinking as long as you dont lug it constantly or rev it out in the first few hours, the rings should just fine.

Its a Cal 20. They are great little boats! Probably gonna be my dad and I double handing it for racing, but ill keep you in mind if I need crew. Where do you live?

I just picked up a 2018 Kim 250excf. And on the highway it shakes hard every 3-4 secs. At 55+ mph. Does yours do that. I’m thinking is the wheels. Need balance

Yes, it's your wheels. Either balance them yourself or take it to a shop where they balance them for $20. Balancing is required on these bikes to be smooth on the highway due to the location of the rim lock.

I used to have a 500 2014 , it would shut off every time I came to a full stop at a red light Is this problem resolved in the 18 or 19 teens ??

Haven't had any issues so far and my buddies with newer 500s have never mentioned that issue. I think these new 500s are pretty dialed in!

Very nice! Congrats! I always heard that you should break in an engine how you plan on running it. So take it easy if that's what you want to do. If you are planning on racing, go out and run it hard. I know I was very self-conscious about breaking in my CB500x however.
