I'm very curious to hear your impressions after you get some more miles on it. I got a used Tarmac SL6 (not S-Works) a few years ago and I have been utterly blown away by how fast that bike is (with similar upgrades - ENVE cockpit and wheels). I'm sure the TCR is no slouch, but I can't imagine how it might be better (other than comfort over long miles - the Tarmac's stiffness can wear me out on rides over 50 miles). Nice to have you back.

@@NorCalCycling Sorry, that wording was a bit aggressive and knee jerk reaction. I didn't mean to imply that you were not being honest about your opinions. @@NorCalCycling TCRs are fkn boss and completely underrated as a "real" race bike because of their price and accessibility, the geo and wheel base absolutely suit crit racing as does the stiffness and power transfer, they arw snappy and fun bikes to ride. @@h4rdcor31 I have raced and owned both the propel and the TCR, the propel is an awesome bike for quasi TT flat non technic type courses, i guwss theres a reaon its so populr in the triathlon world, but for technical crit courses it just feels sluggish and slow out of corners compared to the lighter and snappier TCR, the geo and wheelbase of the TCR i fell is much better suited to technical racing. If I had to chose between the TCR and the propel I'd choose the TCR every single time, ironically I think you'll find many of the giant factory teams race the TCR in crits and not the propel also

Ultegra mechanical forever! It came on my bike back in early 2020, I was skeptical and thought I was gonna upgrade to Di2 or AXS, but hot dang it has been so rock solid I just can't leave this groupset. 12,000 miles and I haven't even had to touch a barrel adjuster, never dropped a chain, only replaced consumable items like chains, cassette (PNW road grime, ugh), and jockey wheels. Next bike will likely be mechanical as well, so I can afford a nicer set of wheels. But nooooo not the Pirellis! I know they're nearly impossible to get, but GP5000 or Pro One Evo, the only options in my eyes.
