You went from a bike you barely see anywhere to a bike that you can’t help but see everywhere! I’m biased, but much prefer the Eldorado. You should have gotten the California if you wanted bags, windshield and 2 up seating.

iI does. But the heart sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants. If we were entirely logical we wouldn't ride motorcycles. Also I am lucky enough to still have another Guzzi.

@@vincentlawler3033 Does the Guzzi cause many problems?
@vincentlawler30333 жыл бұрын
@@masterspin7796 On that Eldorado one of the rear turn signals was hanging off by the wires when I got home from picking it up at the dealership and at 600 miles the alternator belt broke and I had to get towed. Those two experiences left me a little wary but I put another 7000 miles on it after that with zero problems. They are fun bikes to ride.

@@vincentlawler3033 My starter failed on my mv agusta, it cost me $670.00 for the tow truck ride home plus the cost of the repair...cooling fan circuit has a problem...after 14,000 miles it still runs like new but Im afraid to travel far...

Moto Guzzi beat HD in every riding chapter. what is true on Guzzi is the lack of chromed parts and accessories.

Guzzi has more personality, I think...

Probably true Lorenzo. The Guzzi definitely has more mystique.

My Eldorado has a touring seat / windshield / flood lights / and saddle bags. No big deal. At any rate, hope you enjoy your new ride. Ride on brother.

Both bikes are beautiful in their own way. I have been to Bike week a number of times, (Rode in the motorcycle demolition derby 1 year) and I do check out the Harleys, but I always come back to that almost everyone has one. I guess part of the Motorcycle game to me is having something unique. Vince, I think you have had a lot more saddle time than me in recent years. I am at a bit of a crossroads, in the next year I would like to get a nice slightly used street bike.... Looking at a Road king, Softail Deluxe, BMW Adventure (I would even go back to the 1150.. the nicest I could find) and I did walk into the Guzzi Dealer one day a few years back, and had to come in again and look at the Eldorado. WOW! What a unique bike I thought. Not as utilitarian like an HD in that you could put hard bags, soft bags, barn door sized windshield on the front All kinds of different rims / exhaust on it... I was liking it the way is was - a straight up cool, unique very functional bike. I watched the video to see some insight into why an owner would part with it, and I think I got an answer. Enjoy your new ride, and thanks for the video.

The road king fit and finish is better than in the guzzi?
@vincentlawler30332 жыл бұрын
Yes. I think so. I never did get to like the plastic fenders on the Guzzi.

I hope you're right that chrome is coming back. I think a chromed out RKS would be sweet....kind of a bummer you have to get the smaller motor is you prefer chrome
