So jealous Old Man, such nice trails so close to home!! Nice video...keep them coming. I'm 59 and have a Suzuki GSX8S now and considering one of these. It will be my 6th dualsport if I decide to go with it. I'm liking your input so far.

Seems you got this down already 😂😂 bike looks sweet

Dont change the front sprocket! It will cause excessive wear on the chain slide on the swingarm.

@ not an issue but you can’t ignore it . R R chain slides as needed looking forward to more updates from your channel

my 2025 was junk sold it at 300 miles. dog tracked some sort of frame swingarm steering head issue? hated the feel and ultra low output.
@388racing92 ай бұрын
Maybe your expectations were too high, I find the bike to do very well and I mainly do off road.

@@388racing9 no it had some sort of manufacturing misalignment issue, traded it even up for a 2023 ktm 390 with 71 miles, steal of the century. I did do 1 trip on the 300 before parting ways. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2muloRumKhjfqM

So what do you think? Regret not getting something with more power like a CRF450RL or an XR650l? I did a lot of dirt biking in my youth and I still get power hungry. Only thing keeping me from getting the 450 is the cost. Bikes are way more than they used to be.

I have a 2024 KLX300 and a 2020 Suzuki DRZ400, the DRZ has so much more powerful and therefore much more fun to ride. The 300 feels like a moped compared to my DRZ400. I use the KLX as a beater bike.

We tried to fight the dual registration thing but failed. Its $44 for two years on the off road registration, so its not too bad.

They look nice but sadly this bike is a 30-year old design. Same engine, frame, suspension, etc since ‘94 with the addition of efi and about a $2500 increase in price. Still no power.

Hondas are always so over-priced, both cars and bikes. I would take the Kawasaki over the Honda in every possible situation!

Biggest question is why in the f are you in Massachusetts 😅 terrible government, shameful to demand a offroad tax!! Definitely check ur engine coolant level, looks low!
@JP-ec9rlКүн бұрын
Aren't you glad that you retired from Uncle Sam ain't released me yet, so that the Massachusetts environmental police could have the opportunity to treat you like you are still government property? When I was a kid growing up in Plymouth, we just rode the power lines without stickers and got chased by the real police. So glad I've called West Virginia home since 1993. I don't miss anything about the Cape Cod area.

Yes when I was young we rode all over and only had to worry about the occasional Registry Cop on their SL125's .. The required ORV Registrations is a doubled edged sword. But I will say this, it has allowed them to recover numerous stolen bikes from the local riding area. Dirt bike theft in our area is at an all time high.

@@388racing9 it's not like we don't have to pay a yearly fee for the Hatfield and McCoy trails in West Virginia or for the trails in Wayne national Forest in Ohio. We pay too but calling a park ranger, "environmental police" instead, just sounds way more gestapo. In most states, the fees go to trail maintenance anyways, so I don't really mind paying 25 dollars a year to have trails to ride. Most privately owned parks are more than that for just one day.
