Another great vid good job man! I can watch your videos all day! You're actually the reason why I started to love this scooter originally and then 2 months now I'll have my own finally! It's my fourth scooter in and this is the one I wanted from the beginning and the rest of mine I'm going to be giving to my son when he's ready in a couple of years! Couple go tracks and then the x9 max but naturally a rider and a racer and experienced driver for over 20 years two more months now and I'll finally have my mantis 10 pro version 2 the newest model! I'll be the only one in this city! Thanks for introducing it to me 2 years ago when I first started in this industry! Be safe ride safe #awareness is everything! Always look forward to your videos I could watch them all day especially on a rainy day when I'm not riding and then it makes me want to go and release some aggressional street surfing LOL

Thank you very much. Got choked up a little. But that’s why we do what we do to have fun.

@@scooterridesandtours you're welcome man or de nada as they say in spanish! That's my son's second language as his mother is mexican! Although going through custody battles right now and she will be losing if she keeps up the way she's going, and potentially deported back to her country, but this industry has saved my life and it will save my sons too! And you're right this is why we do what we do #awareness is everything! Cheers mate keep doing what you do always appreciated

I would have seen that big suv far away and predicted that it might hit me. I drive defensive as if vehicles are out there to kill me. Cars hate bicycles already, so I know they not seeing scooter riders. Moreover, they won’t be expecting you zipping by at 25 mph and I always expect the worse to happen, this is why I am in survivor mode. Your area would be to stressful for me, to many driving minefields.

great vid as per usual! i would've been scared shitless shifting to 3rd gear with the batt life where u had it! you was hitting some serious voltage sag! If that mantis is 60v then that means if you sag below 48v, that s game over! you clip out and off. what was your batt voltage when u got home?
@scooterridesandtours2 жыл бұрын
Ha. Hilarious. I believe when I got home it was around 34% to 40% left. Which is around 55.3 volts. I really don’t have range fears when I pull off 20 mile rides. I know my scooter got it in her to do so. Funny think is that I have never got her under 52 volts. I know there is some voltage sag but I trust that the battery corrects itself and an Uber is only 4 minutes away. Lol. Besides, I’m more terrified of flats than range. Someone taught me a good technique to do when you’re that low is to bring yourself up to a high speed and then feather the throttle till you get to your goal destination.
