Xanthe you are such a star. Well done. I would like to see you on stage some day. Since we don't hear or see Locky sing in this video it's impossible to know who was really the better choice. I don't think it's fair to set up a person with a song that's not them, make them so uncomfortable, then bomb them out. Rita, you said Xanthe is what the industry needs, etc. Then you dropped her. It translates as fake. Let us see and hear Locky sing to compare. I loved the first song.

I’m sure you can look up Lachy videos and see what he does. This video set was dedicated to Xanthe, who is a phenomenal singer with incredible poise and maturity for anyone, perhaps especially for a seventeen year old girl/young woman. She lost with grace and offered genuine good vibes to Lachy. Winning The Voice guarantees nothing in terms of what kind of future career an artist has. I believe Xanthe will have a career in music. I hope to hear from her again soon.

When I watched the callbacks, she was one of the auditions I missed, that I didn’t know her and was shocked she made it to the battles instead of Asha. But she amazed me in the semifinals and proved me wrong.

Cant help but feel they did Xante a bit dirty.... She clearly had an established style that worked in the auditions.... and the 1st thing they appeared to try to do is make her some poppy chick. She was telling a complete story in that audition, with emotion, facial expressions, movement and attitude.. I didn't see any of that in the other songs.

I love her voice but I'm with you wasn't it for her, it just wasn't it. Also I admire her for knowing who she wants to portray herself as on stage. Rita seemed to be trying to hold onto the attitude she gave on the blind audition and that's why she picked abcdefu but I think it didn't do Xanthe justice and I feel like that song choice let her down.
