@JMoPainting I was trying to imagine what they'd look like when they dried clear, and my brain kept thinking of spiderwebs. As they're black, they look more like a glass pane has been cracked, but it would be really cool to see what they'd look like in other colours. Maybe a white one over a night sky painting or silver so it looks like it's reflecting the moonlight? Those Amsterdam Pearl colours would be a lot of fun too. These colours would be difficult at best to see on the white medium, so you'd have no idea what you even had until they were dry! That could be hilarious to watch, and the results would either be totally epic or catastrophic! Haha!

Super gorgeous J! Love the idea, I detest glue because of the ridiculous amount of air bubbles that you honestly cannot POP! Ugh especially in the Elmers ‘clear’ glue. I love to create faux stain glass on picture frame glass. I use 3D black puffy paint or pebeo cerne relief liner to trace a print out under my glass. Any bubbles that occur within that can be popped and drug out a tad with a toothpick. But I have to use a colorant that’s transparent with a clear medium so I use transparent alcohol inks and at first tried Elmer’s clear glue. That created a ton of bubbles even in a slow handed mix that WOULD NOT POP!!!😳😣😠lol So I changed over to Tri-Art Liquid glass for an excellent result in low bubbles AND poppable too!! I love the concept of the clear mix and as I bloom I understand it has to be a pillow thick consistency. I wonder if using a heavy gel medium or possibly a medium weight gel would substitute for the Elmer’s glue. I use it for pigment mixing with Behr enamel house paint in bloom colors. I wonder how a heavy gel & American Floetrol would hold up? Or heavy gel and GAC? or Heavy Gel and a fluid medium? Lol That’s a lot of ‘or’s’ 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ might be worth a try at least on my end and bubbles could be lightly torched too. Glue and a torch are not friends! Lol Nice NICE work tho, your result was fab! That center picture split gradient couldn’t have been easy to paint even WITH taping it off. I’m still trying to figure out how you managed such a thin tape line in between the split! Lol
