I'm thinking of replacing my Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV as need more power to tow caravan but apparently you can't tow on this car. Is this true? Can anyone clarify this?

Really love the concept of this car. But there's a big discrepancy in terms of sustainability right now if you're going to choose the M Sport version of the 225xe. Because then you can only get it with animal skin leather interior and not (like with any other engine) with my beloved Alcantara seats. And that sucks big time. Hoping for a change here when the lci will show up next year.

I cannot handle the value 40km range. It is the Maximum under all worst case conditions? Maybe it is the same lie as of the fuel consumption. If it is then is 40km Range too short. In general I think this Hybrid idea is a good solution for Towns and the Air quality.

The electric range is most useful when doing stop and go traffic, this way you can optimise the internal combustion engine in advance, thus providing more efficiency and more economy. Remember, that range is a factor directly connected to the weight of the car, the batteries alone add 2-300 kg...
