I don't believe there is a gap between the X1 and X3, apart from the alpha numeric X2 part. Why not just make the M sport X1 slightly more sporty for those who feel the need? It's obviously a damned fine car, but I don't really see the point in it as a stand alone product. I think BMW are just being OCD about having 1-8 in their line up.

haohao li Source? Acura have a comparison with BMW here, such blatant advertising they had to disable comments calling them out? Every company does corporate unveils, doesn't mean they're paying the publications. The Acura "comparison" is also clearly marked as being corporate, though they neglect to mention they compare their 6 cyl. sedan to a 4 cyl. BMW.

I think the X2 , Q2 and the GLA are useless . They don't have presence and they are more like hatchbacks . Just more roomy and slightly higher . The Jaguar E pace is much better .

leg room is not too bad, I'm only brushing against the roof and the front seat... I'm 6' and I sat in an X1, and I had like miles of room in front and above me. This X2 is as tight as my soon to be sold bmw 118i . Gosh...

If we're going to go down that road, a coupe is supposed to be 2 doors and this thing isn't. You missed that didn't you. If BMW didn't think smaller was a problem, why do they photoshop them bigger whenever it's put beside the cheaper X1?

Somestime I don't understand the purpose of BMW cars anymore. 4 door " coupes", SUVS designed to be smaller than the models they are based on, run flat tires that ruin performance - and yet in my 320i, the get the basics right.

Jeremy Rogers X1 was a rebodied 3 Series wagon, so you owned two versions of the same car. X1 totally different platform, engine, Car and Driver call it best in class.

Tu Ya He said he is 6 ft 2 tall (1,88 m) He set the driver‘s seat to his driving position, so 1,88 m in the front and 1,88 m in the back. Space is absolutely appropriate for this class.
