You should do western canada next summer. Calgary, banff, jasper and through the rockies to Vancouver and then victoria. But you will need to book some campground sites now.

I think setting a good budget and maybe taking a little longer in places is the absolute best money saver when trying to travel. Fuel and food can break a budget very fast. So planning is the best advice.

I have front gates lol and I don't use caffeine or eat any processed food so watching you dig in the frig will be comical. yes, places smell different I am in jax and it smells swampy sewery LOL after your here a few days you don't notice it but when we get back from trips especially in the summer, we smell it. put some shoes on when it's cold that might help.
