I agree 100% on the multi tool. Was doing home improvements and that it would be a good idea to get one after I borrowed the neighbors. So when we started reverbing our class C, I knew I needed to buy my own. Used it quit a bit.

You might want to caulk around any imperfections around the window frame. Good job though. I’ll give you more than 2 hours.

I’ve been involved in three complete car restorations and the rule is, no matter how good the deal looks and how it appears a vehicle can be restored, you’d be better off purchasing a well maintained vehicle with records and a very close inspection done by a professional rather than take these type of projects on. Even then, it’s not for the faint of heart! You guys seem like nice people and hard working and innovative, but this might be one project too many - look up the problem with Market Garden, the plan to end WW2 before Christmas that turned into an Allied desaster.

My husband and I used to rehab and flip homes doing much of the work ourselves. Please wear eye safety glasses because it is not unsual for things to fly up into the air during demo. We also wore masks during demo because of the mold and dust which is really bad for your lungs. I don't want to see you guys get hurt.

It’s for sure that Craig’s cons 0:50 tant sneezing is from the mold pores that have been dry disturbed. He *thinks* he’s not allergic to anything, but in fact his system is reacting to the mold. He’s probably not actually allergic to it, it’s just kicking his system. Once finished. covered up and aired out, I’m sure his symptoms will disappear.

It turns out it was the ant killer we'd sprayed in that back room 😅 so he was allergic to that it would seem! We realized it when we sprayed some more at a later date and the sneezing was back.

I have a totally random question, what battery power station do you use in your RV to power everything, and would you recommend it? Thanks, and good luck with that mess you have going on.....

I’m impressed with y’all’s macgyvering these repairs! My Type-A self would’ve dismantled the entire RV getting rid of the gross wood before I even realized it would make repair on a timeline and budget impossible. Great job staying focused! Are you concerned about the structure on the opposite wall behind the closet?

Ok I've been watching for awhile. Since Mexico. My question is how are you going to sleep above the drivers seat? Looks small and if you put a thicker mattress how will you turn. Show us you can both fit. Isn't there a weight limit

Replace your gas cap. They can help cause vapor lock and hard to start situations in hot weather or high engine temps...its the first cheap thing to change.plus change the fuel filter.....

Have you figured out furniture and floor plan yet? I bought a new 2025 fourwinds class c and immediately updated the manual theater seats with rc power seats. Light gray in color just sitting in my garage. Let me know if you would have need of them

Instead of doing wallpaper. maybe glue 1/8" paneling. It will add strength to the wall. Also a trim router with a cutoff bit might help cutting out parts.

It is possible the structure of the wall is a result of the glued lamination of the inside plywood, styrofoam and exterior siding. It is a common way to obtain structural rigidity while saving weight.

This was such a fun video!! And, you make repairing the walls look easy!
@AnnMarino-t1c14 сағат бұрын
Advice from some one who has repaired water damaged walls. Pull out all the dried wood. Use your multi tool to remove any stuck wood. Your fiberglass will not fall out and you can work from the inside. Use Bondo to seal the inside of the fiberglass. Bondo,1/4 sheet of wood then pink insulation. If you skip these steps you are guaranteed to have leaks. New wood will not smell. Buy a gallon of adhesive to put your layers together. You can cut tracks in the foam for extra wood supports. Do it once and do it right. Our repairs have held up many years later and no leaks.
