Full disclosure, I did not pay for this product. However I will say that I am very impressed with it overall!
I would recommend that if you are in the market for a scope of this type that you consider it. For the price you cannot beat the value!
Here is a link to the product on Amazon

Great review Mike! It' amazing how the prices of these have become affordable to the average joe... This unit would pay for itself if you went to buy a engine and were able to inspect the internals before paying!

I'm impressed with this camera, but I am also impressed with the review. Just because this young man had this camera give to him, he's not pushing on how this camera is the best, I have to buy this camera and this camera only!! Nope, he just uses it and lets the quality of the camera speak for itself. Well done!!

You have such a calming presence. (Among other things). It would definitely be a shame if you would keep it all for yourself. So yes, make more videos!! It's all about sharing.✌

I've a more finicky friend that has one of these and he mumbled an ok, which is high praise coming from him. One thing he said that might break on it is the connection to the USB plug (the wire), and i'd have to agree, back in the early 2010's i had a stiffer USB type light, and it broke after a few uses from strain.

That's impressive. I have a similar one for my iphone. It's just a plug-in camera and some software. It was cheap and got me out of a jamb.

A borescope is priceless when you need to see what's going. Speaking of air cooled Onan's a friend bought a bus with a 20kw 4 cylinder air cooled gasoline genset. It has Onan/Studebaker on the tag. Thought you might have seen one. I have a older Snap-on borescope that I use. Thanks!

Well from what I see that company is going to be happy with your review and any other company with a product they want an honest review on will like the way you handled the product. Too many of the people I see on KZbin just gush on about how great the product is and sound as if they would try and sell snake oil if it benefitted them, your review comes across, at least to me, as a straight forward endorsement of something you would personally buy. Good luck with that gen set, I am looking forward to you fixing it and putting it back to work. It would make someone a great unit.

It looks like a great little Scope . I really like the recording feature as it makes reviewing any potential problems easy. On another note have you ever heard of O’KEEFE & MERRITT, a friend of mine has a O’KEEFE & MERRITT gen set from 1943. It looks like it was used by the county. Keep up your great videos. Thanks Bill

I think this is a very useful tool especially for someone that is about to buy some heavy equipment like a bulldozer for example or an over the road big truck where engines can cost more than $15,000 just for a rebuild. Playing peekaboo with the scope could keep you out of the poorhouse.

That's a fair review - You weren't pushing us all to buy it, just giving us a practical demonstration, and an introduction to what you get for your money (How much are they, by the way?) and what is in the box. I wouldn't describe your intro as "just yapping about it" - Far from it. What followed made perfect sense when you know a bit about what you're looking at. - Good video! Now, you've got me interested in that little Onan generator! - I hope there'll be a video pretty soon, to let see how you get on with it?

Another KZbin channel that I watch over called diesel Creek the guy is having some issues with an Onan generator and it might be some questions I told him that you would probably be able to answer I watch your channel as well just thought I would tell you so you might watch his channel and watch about the Onan diesel and see if you can give in and help him with a little bit on that project. Keep up the good work on your videos I enjoy them as well.

Seem like the picture quality is better that the Milwaukee Brand Borescopes. I have been a Milwaukee guy for 20 years, but there optics leave something to be desired. Thanks for the video and tool review. Probably not American or Canadian Made but most things are not.

Nice borescope, I like the twin camera. But I prefer the one with the flex head, which allows you to move the camera head, so you can look around without having to withdraw the scope.

I've had their NTS500 for some time now... It was about twice the price of the B model. The specs all seem to be the same. Now I wish I would have waited. But they do make an awesome product.

Hi. Is yours the version that has a screw on fitting between the flexible probe and the main unit? I know it's more expensive, but if it performs otherwise as well as this one, I'm more inclined to spend the extra for the extra durability over the USB connection this one has. What do you reckon? Cheers.
@ramosel
@ramosel 3 жыл бұрын
@@christhesnaildriver Yes on the screw on. Feature and specs wise, NTS500 was the early model. Now the B has the same spes and features, just about $100 cheaper.

Great video, I have a 91 dodge Cummins they are known for the killer dowel pin I don't know if it has been fixed, some people use scopes going through the oil filler hole on the front gear case to see if it has been fixed, would the 90 deg len's be the better choice, thanks for any help you you could give me.
