@henrikhansen6617 Thanks!! I feel the same way. Most of the demos are usually high gain. I feel the most important thing (for me) is to get the more organic analog sounds that are most often used in blues, and other roots based music genres. These emulators are usually ok with the high gain stuff but it’s hard to get the feel and response of the barely broken clean and crunch tones that I’m more drawn to. 🤓 Thanks for checking out the video and the comment! I hope to do more videos in the near future.

Nice video! It is good to see it in a live situation, different from the other videos I've seen so far. I guess once you put in more time to it you will be able to get some pretty good sounds out of it. And for the price, I mean you buy three boss pedals and you already spent more than what the ME 90 costs. Your rig sounded very professional. You could really tell the difference on Pink Floyd. From upgrading to the ME-90, I hear- 1. A beefed up the dry signal in the Modulations to keep the volume levels from dropping as they did in the ME-70. 2. Delay mixed better. 3. More bite to the Overdrives. 4. The wah sounds fine, but lacks the throatiness of the Vox. The expression pedal does have a weird feel to get used to…like it’s not heavy enough. Then again, my Headrush Exp. Pedal was a TANK and it had too large of a physical sweep to it.

Hey, it’s pretty simple to fix. You basically have a switch in a global preset to either have it go automatically from complete Manual mode and where the knobs are set physically on the unit (I prefer this) or from the last saved preset settings (how the unit comes automatically). I’ll make a quick video showing how to make the change. When I was in there I also turned off the noise suppression as I find that gives a strange cut off to the signal and it’s more natural without it.

@@the_guitar_generation cheers. I like the idea of a unit where there is no plugging into a computer or downloading software. I'm just lazy 😆😆

@24-7Guitars actually, I have the app downloaded anyway (even though I don't have the unit) and I think I found that setting. Change it from " the same sound as memory" to "the knob setting sound".

So on the me 90, I was dialing in my country tones and had it all set using it like a pedal board. When I shut it off and turned it back on I had to start all over, I didn’t want to save it at the time thinking it would be right where it was when I had shut it off. Will the switch in side change that to where when I turn the unit back in it will be where it was when I shut it off or turn the pedals on and off.

Yes, turn it to manual mode rather than the saved preset mode and it will help. Check out the global preset functions. I’ll make a video about this soon enough. Very frustrating though, right?

Ok thanks bud assuming you just take the screws out on the bottom and separate the unit in half then or open it, etc?

Your other guitar needs to be turned up a bit, and you turned down a bit. His lead vocal needs to be eq'd and down just a hair. I think the ME90 sounded good, with effects...just loud.

That’s the reality of a live jam sometimes. There’s no sound check etc, just get up and go.

I don't trust anything this guy says. Bypassing the preamp when the multifx and amp that can do 4CM? My ME-80 blows the ME-50's sonics out of the water. The effects loop was the only missing piece that they've corrected here.

So if you use the clean channel of the amp, why can’t you use the pre amps ?
@the_guitar_generation
@the_guitar_generation Жыл бұрын
I guess you can, but my understanding is the preamps automatically use a cab simulation which may sound weird? Maybe that’s just if it’s in line mode rather than guitar mode. Give it a shot and see how it sounds! Many cool sounds come from just trying things that aren’t supposed to work

That’s a good question! My understanding is that you can move it pre or post the preamp section.
