That Boss Fight is awesome. I loved playing it with the gang. But then at the same time i wonder why THE F*** was there no map like this, with such an engaging boss fight, since the game came out? They obviously are capable of creating this stuff. So what stopped them? I wish we had like 3 more of those boss fights. Also why is the way towards these bosses just Magistrati with literally no ambients? Could have at least made the map a little spicy too. Now this feels like a fight you do once to reap the rewards and then never again. Weird stuff. EDIT: i also want to thank you for turning off screen shake now i can finally watch without getting sea-sick XD

Yeah its a lot of fun! The map on the way there was definitely a little dull & not much happened in the way of challenge in the new room either, a small gas display then a few Crushers! Hopefully we get more boss encounters though. & You're welcome hahaha.

I have a feeling its because of how hard the fight is if it was a full length level people would avoid it. Maybe in the future they will update old boss endings and add more enemies to this map depending on feedback. Thats what im hoping for i suppose.

Yeah it seems like it would make more sense to do it in the carnival or something to cap off the new areas.

I feel like this map is more of a test, no its not a proper new map but the other two are so good. The new atmosphear to the map (i think its pretty spooky and grim even compared to others), the idea of rooms trapping you in or being lured into different areas, gas? and obviously boss fights being a BOSS fight. If people respond well to it and the new updates with much more improved player numbers it gives them alot of stuff to use for future maps and or updating old ones (assasination missions) I feel like next year if they just carry on as they are now we could be looking at a real expansion. Also did you notice the womens hand twitches at the end screen, Nurgle does like a bit of rebirth to his champions.

Yeah, hopefully this is a gateway to more fun and interesting boss scenarios in the game. Would love some fresh, proper Assassination missions. I did not notice the hand twitch!! Looks like we may get them again in the future!

i have to say this is by far my most favorite mission love everything about it the boss fight at end although i feel the boss fight favors zealot and ogryns since you need to be able move very fast or just heavily tank but still loved the fight either way

It was really nice to experience purposeful environmental mechanics like a proper RPG boss battle almost. Definitely lends to faster characters like you say!

@@TheWileSpice i agree either you need zealots speed or ogryns ability to face tank most vet or pskyers ive in game struggle granted might just be pub players but still overall its my new fav mission that

Yup because vets aren't good with multiple waves of maulers but at least they have VoC and Plasma gun which are great for bosses and can stack brittleness. Psykers are great for the trash but they still can't tank the boss hits nor deal high boss damage, have very little mobility and survivability in general so they rely way more on the team.

Now do it on Hard Mode, ring the bells to unlock it, then get a team together to ring that Right Bell.

Beat it on my 5th try. Died twice to mechanic because I didn't know about the ceiling fan, died twice to Mauler and Rager spam when nobody was equipped to deal with it. Absolutely loved this boss fight, but it's 1000% tougher when your team doesn't know what they're doing or have tunnel vision when attacking the bosses. The adds and elites are the biggest problem in this fight and should take top prioirity before everything else.

The Elites are definitely the biggest threat yeah! 8 Maulers or Ragers is quite something if they're all chasing you alone. Then 1 Sniper will spawn opposite end & ruin you haha. Definitely a lot of fun though yeah!

I like the little detail the Karnak twins have aussie voices. Fitting when the Imperium is dominated by british and commonwealth accents 🤣

I feel like the redactus missions could be so much better if they were all like this, hopefully this event stays in some way with mechanics like this. I also hope they add the new soundtrack in this and the previous carnival level into the OST on steam, still missing for now. I definitely need to try a catachan zealot build too...

Yeah, I hope they keep and continue adding cool new mechanics as boss / mini boss encounters. They are really nice & add a different level of stakes to a mission. They should do eventually, would be odd if they didn't! & I show both my builds for a Catachan Zealot on my recent "The best Devils Claw Sword is??" video if you're curious about what I use! :)

@@TheWileSpice yeah that was my inspiration to try it out. I took a zarona revolver though for the quickdraw high damage on big threats, working for the tier IV point blank blessing on that. Just a personal choice, boltgun feels too slow for me on zealot.

if the bell puzzle teleport drops you just before the fight then 100% best farming spot, if it drops you inside the boss fight room then It still probable is best it's really quick and all the loot is in one place garanteed.

Dunno abt the left bell, but the right one to activate hard mode despawn the chests containing them materials

I have a feeling you may earn more on average speed running standard Damnation quickplay. Depends on the team really for both scenarios.

I was able to beat this on damnation in my secind try. It was fun and challenging, but probably not something I'll play many more times. Also before you ask, no I haven't played it with the bells. Overall its cool, but probably not the end all be all. Also Wile, got a general question: Do you get your guns through the store through pure luck (with stats and blessings) or do you grind gold and then buy from the armory until a lucky roll?

Yeah once I try/complete hard mode, I can't imagine I'll jump into it very much, the general map is way to un-engaging for repeated play throughs in my opinion. & It's been a mixture of both really. I've found a lot of good stuff in the store over the time I've played now, I do go on a Brunt's Lottery mad one every so often though if theres a weapon I really want, like the new variants for example.

I think i will go with my psyker as well, I went with the Zealot first two times - one with your devil claw build and second with bonk stick (it's 540), but damn we've got fucked. There is also hard mode if you hit the bells on the map, we tried that and fought for like 10 minutes and we merely scratched their HP. As for the mission it's REALLY good, something i was looking forward to. I wouldn't want to do it regularly, but as a special event I think it's awesome.

Yeah definitely seemed much easier on the ol' Psyker! Purgatus is beautifully strong. I hope they start integrating more fun things like this in future maps.

I wouldn't mind if special assignment rotate so long as they do it quickly but I hope it's just archived and available in perpetuity. I understand the mission selection for this game, it does feel like expendable strike teams wak-A-moleing strategic inconveniences as a posed to vermin tide where heroes try to save the world, but I hope at least the special assignment selection looks more like vermin tide.

I was really really happy with the bossfight, tons of fun and leaps and bounds above the regular kill-missions we've had so far, hope we get a lot more like this moving forward. The one thing that i would have wished for to make this perfect are some better rewards. The missions give the exact same rewards money and exp-wise and all you get aside that is a little insignia. Its not bad, and it certainly looks cool but cmon, gimme smth here. I think it would've been really awesome to maybe get special weapon rewards. Give everyone who completes it 2-3 gifts from the emperor and up the chances for it being usable gear. Thats all it wouldve needed to feel rewarding on repeated playthroughs. From the way they structured the mission it also feels like it was intended for repeated playthroughs, seeing how the map leading up to the twins aint long or particularly challenging. Like this, aside the fact that the boss fight is just a lot of fun, i dont really see a reason to repeat this mission too many times.

Is it me or all the mechanics on this level are tuned for zealot or maybe ogryn. U get bosses with shields and shield are destroyed more effectively in melee, u also get constant crowds of trash mobs which would most likely overwhelm a psyker or veteran if not guarded by zealot and ogryn. Finally a gaz room with save zone moving from one corner to another is annoying for psyker but trivial for zealot.

@@TheWileSpice Honestly i wouldnt even be mad if they would put in shop some kind of legendary cosmetics who costs more than regular but looks absolutely dope. I would even spend money if they would release some kind of expansion/DLC maybe with new character.

Yeah I beat it on Damnation in 2 minutes and then I got promoted to biggest inquisitor and then the Emperor himself gave my Reject head

It's fairly easy once you get the mechanics down & have a team that has done so or can learn quickly. I haven't tried it on 'Hard Mode' yet though.

i got lucky and got 2 good ones after buying abt 6 from brunts got t4 200% cleave and t4 crit on hit with 5% crit chance perk , using the crit build its like moving a lawn with the sweeping light attacks then you got the big downstrokes for headsots and rips i love it already so much better than the old one .@@TheWileSpice
