The batch code at 1:42 of "1231" indicates the bottle was manufactured on August 19, 2021 (August 19th is the 231st day of 2021). There are two possibilities for the 2022 release of Boss The Scent Le Parfum. One is that they couldn't get it to distributors in time for the 2021 holidays. The other is that the batches are cooked up months before release in order to give the mixture time to mature.

I wld think its so they have more than enough time to build up inventory and prep for orders to all retailers worldwide. Last thing you wanna tell Macy's is "hold on we need to make sum more" but yeah, youre theories make alotta sense too. Could be an "all of the above"

@@edwardbrock3807 That would also mean that several batches are cooked up for the initial orders. I just thought of another one. Maybe they didn't want to compete with the new top shelf releases like Dior Sauvage Elixir, knowing that stores and duty free shops would give it preference in what ever co-op advertising still exists with little print media being sold these days. Perhaps they just didn't want to reserve a budget for a holiday ad campaign.

Private Accord also my fave from the line. OG #6 will always be classic but I'm looking forward to either this or being able to find Le Parfum somewhere. I have Unlimited but it really is kinda limited. Thanks Ash.

I got a bottle of The Scent Parfume Edition for Xmas. Easily the most distinguished of the Boss line up. Women cannot stand men smelling like all the same popular brands so a 5yo limited edition gem helps make you smell unique and mysterious.

A surprise coming in at number 2. I feel like Hugo Boss really needs to ramp up the coffee in another flanker. Call it The Scent of Coffee. 😄 Balance out that sweetness with some dark and bitter goodness. ☕

Sounds like a winner, but maybe there's some stuff I'd get before it since I already own Private Accord and am really happy with it. Probably I'll be waiting until it hits the discounters for about the $30-40 range, maybe by the time it gets there though Boss fragrances might be more in the $40+ range, and that's fine with me too.

In Europe Hugo Boss is a high end brand but elesewhere it seems not. For me Hugo Boss has always been at the top of the game all things considered.

The Scent Parfum was just a skin scent on me, and it felt like it was unfinished.. i sold my bottle after a few wearings. My favourite from the line 'I'm in the minority' is the Original EDT, none of the others are worth owning imo 🤷‍♂️

Hey Gents Scents, what 4 scents do you recommend to me. I am a guy who works at the hospital and I mostly go out in the weekends and I ain't the party type of guy, so I don't use parfums a lot. So I want to narrow it down to 4 nice scents with enough of variety for me. I like something that 'packs a punch', something that's more subtle,1 that's a little bit more sweet but not to much and 1 out of the box. Budget isn't a problem. Looking forward to some reactions :)

4 you can't really go wrong with are mont Blanc explorer , gaultier le male parfum, dolce gabana the one edp, Dior homme cologne ( for summer ) or Mercedes Benz cologne ... You could also add either YSY Y edp or sauvage as both are great
