Thank you for sharing. How long do you keep milt and eggs before you do water changes to add fresh water with eggs? 2. Do you add any fungal meds? 3. If any of the eggs are floating or not stuck to container does that means it's infertile or bad? Any advice

@@CrowntailHalfmoon sorry I was talking about koi. With goldfish I hand spawn them in a container and then take the full container submerged into a pond for hatching. Lots of air. When the fry hatch I try and replace the full pond volume every week. I feed normal high protein food which is tilapia pellets mixed with a high protein koi food. All my fish get that. There is no special feed. When they are ready they chase naturally. I never force the spawning

i have a question, we have two golfish ,they have both started spawning can you put in the milt and then add the eggs and leave thewm to hatch in the same container. I have seen on other videos that you are suppose to put in an air pump and also rinse the water and replace it this was a video on aquarium goldfish but is that the same thing for some pond goldfish

when you spawn these fish how many survive to the fry state and how many survive to adult

+AMIN MALLEM you need to wait till she's ready - use more males and more milt. Place the bowl underwater in a big tank or pond. Lots of fresh water and oxygen. I add a very small amount of methylene blue for fungus. Hatch in 4 days normally. Water quality is very important and controlling temp changes

why not just add the eggs all without water in a bowl then the molt and mix before you add the water you get such a better outcome of hatch that way.
