New Brighton Fun Fair Vlog 5th June 2021

Join us in this short vlog as we make a quick first time visit to New Brighton Fun Fair located in New Brighton, Merseyside, England, UK
This tiny kids amusement park is the first stop on our North West of England Mini road trip and while I was here I bagged myself another plus 2 coaster credits, this tiny is home to a small selection of traveling rides and is one of the last remaining amusement parks in England i need to visit
This is the first time I’ve ever visited this area of Merseyside and I thought it was very nice especially on a nice sunny Saturday morning, there is also a huge slot machine arcade joined to the park so bring lots of money if you plan on making a visit
Footage was filmed in 2.7K 50fps using a GoPro Hero 9 Black with official accessories

I worked there in the 70s and early 80s, it was a right of passage for lads who grew up in New Brighton. When I worked there it had great gallopers, waltzer, jets, dodgems, ghost train etc, I have great memories of the place.

Great vlog mate, good to see you round my neck of the woods on the Wirral. Lots of memories at this place. The Twist is a special one as it was Herbert Silcocks which used to operate at Southport Pleasureland in the 80's and 90's. The Park is relocating later this year as the site is being redeveloped into a hotel.

Unfortunately that entire building the arcade and the other businesses are in, and even the surrounding area including the fair ground is due to be flattened in the near future, apparently everything will move to a different part of the prom but I imagine the council will destroy the area.

My home town.. Not as it good as it used to be. Word is that it is to be sold off soon and to be made into offices / housing.. shame as New Brighton always had a fairground, especially during the 60s.
