New Britain's volcanoes, the rage of the earth

On the volcanic island of New Britain off Papua, a handful of animals have learned to live to the rhythm of the rages of the earth. When the ash of a volcanic eruption invades their habitat, the choice seems simple: it must either stay and adapt or else ... leave. In truth, nothing is simple because volcanoes and paths of life are unpredictable.
The history of life on Earth and fire are intimately linked: volcanism is at the origin of the formation of the first organic molecules and the appearance of life on Earth.
Directors: Bertrand LOYER, Jacques BEDEL and François de RIBEROLLES

The narration is highly impressive 👏 due to selection of best words and scientific terminologies. By seeing such documentaries a viewer think as he or she is himself or herself is present im that challenging environments. From Pakistan 🇵🇰 ♥ 😍

The dolphin scene made me wonder if the ones present today had seen/heard stories of WW2 in the Pacific that would probably assume naval warfare and above water volcanism are the same type of event.

Usually nature/science docs that attempt artiness are off putting, but the series to which this one belongs are all really rather good. Jeremy Irons' voice is, well, it's very Jeremy Irons, isn't it? No one does his voice better. Steve Coogan jolly good at it sometimes, but not consistently. I especially liked the one about the central American volcano, with all the green birds. My one caveat, Loyer does tend to re use his footage. What is New Britain one week is Alaska the next, and then meso america. Bit naughty, but these must be darn expensive to make. Plus they've got to pay J Irons. Maybe they should hire Steve Coogan next time to play Irons.

To the merciful hearts 🤲🤲 I am a mother of orphaned children from Palestine, Gaza Strip 🇵🇸 I appeal to the good and doers of good. I appeal to the servants of the Most Merciful to help me and help my children We are a needy family, our conditions are very bad, life is difficult and there is no breadwinner for my children, and the conditions are harsh in Gaza because of the war and the siege We live without a home in Zingo's room, made of very bad iron I hope a good person who does good and works for the sake of God can help us with the expenses of the house and finishing the room It protects my children from rain, winter and cold Forgive me for entering this way, the circumstances are stronger than me 😢😢 The number inside the picture ☝

This is New Britain island in the Philippines/New Zealand/ New Guinea area in the Pacific. Not the European country of Great Britain in the Atlantic! But the old Great Britain 🇬🇧 country does have volcanoes. They a're all extinct, though. If you want to know about the volcanoes of Great Britain look up the Birth of Britain, 1 of 3 videos made about 9 yrs ago. 😉
