6:19 ik a lot of mistakes are made during this vid but in situations where you know the next x shots are red, chugging x beers so that the dealer doesn't have a chance to shoot then you shoot is better. sometimes using beer when there are way more reds than blues can also be a good idea to give less lives to the dealer. and of course beer can still be used when shooting yourself is risky (if you have horrible luck)

I haven't played the game, but I feel like you'd benefit from using the beer more frequently, for example at 6:14, using both beers would guarantee that you'd get to shoot the dealer w/out him getting his own turn. Basically, sometimes shortening the round is advantageous (also the beer can be used like shooting urself w/out live shells having consequences)
