Kill him early in the game. Buffed Yamato is designed to counter him btw: 1. Yamato's normals + anti stagger are able to push Kaido out of the treasure area easily 2. When Yamato is less than 10% hp left ignore def buff of Kaido 3. Recovery block 4. Kaido cannot do nothing when Yamato is capturing

It's more like 50/50 tbh. Kaido has aflame and knockback for days, to knock Yamato out of treasure, DoT her when she's 1 HP and down. Kaido S1's wind also pushes Yamato out as long as she doesn't face a wall or is already capturing. Kaido still has his heals and 50% damage reduction. Kaido has status null, so anti heal can only be applied once Kaido is outside the flag. Good luck trying to do S1 and not die since S1 is a dash skill.

Then kaido is at disadvantage as he will be out of his captured treasure and from then it's easy for yamato . It's not 50/50 it's 70 for yamato and 30 for kaido ( imo)
