Just saw an Chevy OBS version of this at HRPT. They butted the full cab together with air bladder between like you'd use between your camper and the cab.

Ide do #2 bolting the cabs together so you can still have both seats. Cut out the back windows and merge the roofs. 4 functional doors and suspension layout.

The version where the doors mesh isn't possible if you want to drive it in weathere that isn't sunny as there is no way possible that you could seal the windows unless it was one door that closes into both door enclosures and it would be hinged in front or in back. Plus it would be structurally quesstionable.

I wanna do this with 2 old military hmmwv. Plenty of room for opposing drivetrains with the big hump in the middle. The differentials spin backwards because of the portal axles so a standard diff swap would enable reverse axle rotation. I hope I crab walk a hmmwv one day

Out of the 2. I pick the shorter one. The other one has been done. There is a car lot here in Texas called MCMC that used to have one. It was done with 80s model trucks. But that really short one i don't think anyone has done

I would build 3 with 2 different front wheel Drive setups and drive it either way. Steering columns on opposite sides of the cab.

Farm, you are from OKC now. not sure how long you lived here, surely you remember a small corner car lot between S.W. 25ht and S.W. 29th and Walker ave. that had a really cool car that was mashed together like that. Seems like it was an old 50 something Oldsmobile or some year in the 50s/ I was born in 64, so it was there until I went to Catholic Shool at Mt. St. Mary's in the neighborhood behind it. Someone on here is bound to remember if they lived in OKC in the 60s-80s. I always thought that thing was the coolest thing I ever saw. If I find a picure online, I will post the link.
