It's finally time to start a NEW Bullet Journal with a 2021 Half Year Setup! I start a new bullet journal every 6 months (yes, I use up all the journals for those of you wondering :D) so now as we're closing July, it's time for some journal migration.
This beginning setup is inspired by dreamy clouds and pinky-neutral colors, but the main focus is on the setup itself. We'll create a goal reflection page, an in-depth budget tracker, some easy watercolor paintings, and much more! ^^

I love those watercolor add-ins. I’ve been dabbling with watercolor recently since starting bullet journaling and I love seeing the different techniques. ACOTAR, as A Court of Thorns and Roses is referred to in my reading groups, only gets better from its slow start. Another series you might enjoy is The Inheritance trilogy by N. K. Jemisen or her Broken Earth trilogy. (FYI, the feel and style of the two series are so radically different that it’s amazing the same author wrote them.)

I definitely recommend From Blood and Ash by Jennifer Armentrout! It’s a very adult novel, but AMAZING! Definitely similar vibes to ACOTAR.

The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin is really good (some people are thrown in the beginning by the writing style and being kind of confused, but once you get into it, it’s great). It’s the first in The Broken Earth trilogy.

The Seven Brides series by Leigh Greenwood is an excellent series. It start just after the Civil War. All the brothers are named after southern presidents and the women are named after flowers. And they're all spitfires. It's awesome. The first book is called "Rose" and there's plenty of action mixed with romance. There are seven books in the series.

Love this theme and the colors! Here are some fantasy books with lots of worldbuilding: The Seven Realms series by Cinda Williams Chima The Inheritance Cycle series by Christopher Paolini Brandon Sanderson books are generally well-thought-out too!

I love your setup. Been waiting for it actually since mid-year bullet journal setup videos became my youtube playlist 😚 I also into manga lately since I've done reading my fav manga in english translation. I thought it would be nice if I could read the original pieces, but I couldn't read kanji at all except 'Watashi' and 'Nani' 🤣 Good things the shounen manga I read provides hiragana character for kanji word. Did every manga actually provides them?

Haha it's definitely a struggle for me too! 😅 Only some manga provides the small hiragana characters. I've studied quite a lot of kanji so it's actually very good practice for me, but it's so frustrating to realize I've forgotten some veeery basic kanji 🙈😂 But even my japanese husband forgets kanji all the time (or doesnt know how to read) so it's normal I guess! 😂

Have you read the lord of the rings? I know it seems a little long, but it’s absolutely great! It has so many different facets plus it’s a book from wich many others (like game of thrones) come from.
