I’m happy you talked about the cons of the Reverie notebook! On one hand, It is such a cool idea to have a bullet journal with paper that can handle true watercolor!! Plus the cover is insanely beautiful, better than any of the regular smooth paper bujos out there. On the other hand, you ended up drawing the watercolor spread on another notebook and then gluing a scanned copy anyway, so you didn’t really use the watercolor paper of this bujo. Yet the rough texture made your fine liners dry, and also frays your brush pens. Another challenge: drawing a masterpiece on dot grid paper makes it difficult to scan and convert it into printable stickers and other merch. It’s tough to find a notebook that does it all 😅

I loved it. I also draw and paint my pictures in a sketchbook. Then I take a photo and print it out. So I have the original in my sketchbook and the copy in my BuJo. I love your videos. ❤

I came across your page in like December and could not for the life of me find it again until another KZbin tagged you because she used one of your prints! Stunning painting! I also paint. But directly in my journal. The one thing is that the journal is not meant for water color or any media. What kind is the big one where you paint? Might have to get me one asap! 😊 you are such an inspiration ❤ can’t wait for the fall pages you make! It’s my fave season.

Thank you so much! 🥹❤️ The big one I used is Etchr Lab The Perfect Watercolor sketchbook (cold pressed). I've linked it in the description if you want to look it up! However, a cheaper watercolor sketchbook/paper pad would also work much better than the notebook paper. For example something like the Canson XL watercolor paper is a good cheaper alternative! 😊

Thank you so much! 🥹🤍 I usually have an idea of what I want, then I go over an embarrasing amount of real pictures, paintings or digital art to see different color combinations, detail options, styles etc. And then I make a sketch where I combine lots of the features I like the most to create the final image 😄 But this time in general I was inspired by the idea of cherry blossoms in Japan 😊🤍
