Wow both colors were so pretty! The Dawn Patrol color was my favorite. Oh no the dots left is not…good. I guess if I were into buy it, I would just use it as a lip tint. You looked pretty as usual ❤ you have such nice skin-have you thought about discussing luxury skincare? Or just what you use?

I have always been intrigued with products like these, ever since the Benetint days (😂) but never enjoyed those. I liked that you mentioned that it was dewy/creamy as that is what I wanted in Benetint back in the day. I don’t like the trouble the streaky ness as I would look like a fool (not a thorough blender) but do want a duel/tint like this right now. UGH! Decisions decisions 😂

I bought Dawn Patrol and Laguna Peach. I spread the product on my hand and then apply with a brush and I don’t have any trouble with it being patchy or not blending. I haven’t tried it over powder, but I’m not sure that’ll work the best because of the consistency. It is like a gel/stain. Weird thing is that the two shades I bought look almost the same after application on my tan skin. They don’t look the same on my hand or lips, but applied on my cheeks side by side there wasn’t a big difference. I felt like I was using a ph formula because those always turn the same on me. Probably not my favorite cheek product, but I’ll get some use on the lips.

I had the same issue with the color! I put heat wave on one cheek and dawn patrol on the other and they both looked the same. But on the hand/arm swatch and the lips, they looked very different. I may just keep one of them because I really loved the formula on my skin but I don’t want multiple shades that look the same on my skin (for reference, I have fair neutral skin).

😁So it's a Korean product sold to us by a US company for 3 times the price 😂. Nothing new here. I think I just buy that for 10 dollars or less from Korean brands like Peripera or Etude House or A'Pieu or Tony Moly or Black Rouge... if I wanna pay 15 dollars then Clio, Mude, Wakemake, Kirsch, Rom&nd, Dasique, Skinfood, 3CE, Hince ... 20+ dollars Espoir, Hera, Amuse.. It's a very long list and I left out at least 15 other brands that are all cheaper even though some have much higher end packaging. There is no need for any Western company to release more of these Korean existing products in different packaging for a higher price 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for your review! Was thinking to buy this but the polka dot moment there threw me off! You really worked as fast as possible so I think this will be a problem that will be hard or even impossible to troubleshoot. For the lips the look ok, but nothing to write home about. If they cost around 16 dollars I would give them a chance but for this pricepoint no. Thank you again for trying this out thoroughly!

I think if you apply to a brush first, it really helps but can still leave a little bit of a mark where the brush first goes down on the face. So it’s problematic.

There is something about this little product that I like and I’m determined to make it work, no matter how much it kind of fails me. On the cheeks it does last but not quite long enough and all of the shades look exactly the same somehow on the cheeks. Just keeps failing me and I just keep trying to play with it until I get it to succeed. It’s like I’m rooting for it too much.

I don't like those types of products applied directly to cheeks. You could try picking it up directly on a brush. I liked the latest Nars liquid blush applied with a brush, not the same problem, but I found it disappeared and blended away with my fingers.

Applying directly to the brush does seem to help and of course it can be seen as more sanitary as well. A lot of people don’t like that it kind of goes from the mouth to the face. So there’s a lot to discuss there and I do agree with you

I’ve used sigma cleanser and also beauty blender and doc bronners but those are all with water . I didn’t care for the Sephora waterless spray so when I saw that brand I was considering buying to try but I have a lot of natural hair brushes I prefer and I don’t want to ruin them!!

I honestly can remember the glory days of UD. Their shadows, liners, and lipsticks were OG faves. We have come a long way from the days of the first Naked palettes. I feel like their products have become pretty disappointing. I still love my Moondust singles. This newer brand is inconsistent. The staining and dots on your cheeks were a big no-no for me.
