Listening to these actors talk makes me NOT want to watch this play again. Love Sorkin's past work, but I wouldn't pay for a ticket for this production.

The actors are wonderful. The adaptation is not. This production should be titled CAMELOGICAL as Sorkin went out of his way to justify aspect of this legend that resulted in stripping it of all magic, and most tragically, romance. (SPOILER ALERT: Merlin literally dies at the top of Act 1 and when Lance sings "If Ever I Would Leave You" -- he's never even kissed Guinevere.) Act 2 presents the concept of magic being replaced by "science" which is a term that I believe would not exits for another 400 years. So Sorkin's referencing science in the play is as much a fantasy as the magic he struggled to logically replace. The production is dark and moody but the live sword fights are thrilling. If you're at all sentimental about the original hyper-romantic, kind of clunky CAMELOT, don't see this production. It will leave you cold. There's a reason it won NO Tony Awards.

The CEO of Moderna has been given a 50 percent pay raise after he cashed in $400million in stock - despite the company facing backlash for rising the COVID-19 shot from $26 to $130. Stephane Bancel, 50, received a merit raise last year of around 50 percent, raising it to $1.5million. His target cash bonus was also raised, according to the Washington Post.

The reason for this "revival" is to make money with music that has already been written and force it like a square peg in a round hole into a modern narrative. The score is already beloved and the age old tale has been outgrown because time has gone by...enter Aaron Sorkin and the Beaumont Theater in Lincoln Center. This is a classic dive for cash and unfortunately the theater at this level is hurting for money....as are we all.

You really have to respect white culture's ability to incorporate all races into it, like being able to make Cleopatra black, unlike black or Asian culture which is unable to do that.

This is the wrong way round. This is not how to tell a story. Using the source material, then maybe show how that relates to the modern world. None one wants a medieval show about modern politics and diversity, it barely makes sense.

Let me guess: Arthur is transgendered, Guinevere is foul-mouthed and covered with tattoos, Lancelot is a rapper who wears his pants around his knees, and Merlin puts curses on people he finds insufficiently woke.
