My first time cooking by myself (I was like 12 maybe) was actually using a stove in a camper. I made 6 eggs at once and I was probably a little too impressed with myself lol.

I love camping! I was born and raised in Oregon and we wouldn't go to a campground, we would drive into the deep woods and camp. We would take baths in the creeks and a small cooler with hotdogs and easy food to cook. Sleep in tents and pretty much live off land. I now live in Missouri. I been here for 5 years and haven't gone camping yet 😩

I'm not a fan of camping as an adult but used to go a lot growing up. My parents took my 2 younger brothers & I deep into the woods by the river in NE GA. We had tents, no real bathrooms, stoves, sinks, etc. My mom would heat water over the fire & bath each of us that way in a huge washtub. As I got older they came out with a "shower" that hung from a tree & held a little heated water. It was a lot of work but my parents enjoyed it. I quit going with them when I was around 12. I'd stay with my Nana instead, lol. I've been to a campground similar to the one y'all are at once. We did still sleep in a tent but they had bathroom facilities, laundry areas & other "luxuries." I wish we had rented an RV for that trip because I wasn't a fan of the bathrooms. They appeared clean at first glance but there was hair & all kinds of little nasties hiding in lots of places. I would definitely have used the RV shower, no matter how small it was. My girls & I only stayed one night because I just couldn't deal/use that bathroom. Hope y'all had a great time!!

The campgrounds in the US look much different than in Europe, even the trailers and RV's are much bigger! Enjoy camping!!

We are in Australia and I agree, my caravan (RV) is tinny compared and campgrounds are just dirt you pay a grumpy old man to park on 😅

I normally stay in cabins so it isn't camping but glamping and we usually are by a lake so we can swim, fish, kayak, etc. But flashlight tag is always a fun thing.

Fort Wilderness is awesome everyone should at least experience it once definitely! I used to go as a kid every summer with my grandparents (we tent camped back then there) but since having my own kids my husband and I have brought our kids 3 times so far (we have a trailer) the kids love it and it’s a lot cheaper then anything else but you still get the Disney experience so since we save on the stay it allows us to do more while we are there if we choose.

We are a larger family (10 kids here) and have rented a travel trailer to camp at Fort Wilderness a few times. We find that it’s the most economical way to stay on property! It’s also my kids favorite resort! So much to do! I hope you had fun 😊

I love camping. My family always goes to mackinaw city (Michigan) and we stay there with a view of the bridge and we stay in a tent and have a gazebo that we put a picnic table under and have a portable grill and our coolers. Its so fun all the memories and haveing camp fire and playing on the play ground watching fireworks. Its right on Lake Michigan so its beautiful!! We haven’t gone in a couple of years because without my 3 older brothers to help dad setting up the 4 room tent is hard, mom and i try to help but we arnt tall enough 😅the boys are all older with their own families and jobs that they cant get time off easy.

We stayed at Fort Wilderness when I was little think I was 6 or 7 with our motorhome. I remember the pool was really fun had big red tubes that’s all I remember about it since now I’m an adult.

The stove can be covered with a large wooden chopping block. I never use mine i use it for extra space to set like coffee maker different stuff on it.

Ohhh this makes me want to go camping! My family and I absolutely love camping and the outdoors. My tips: Have wipes and water to clean hands at all times. RV camping is so much fun! We actually bought a camper when we moved cross country ans made a 12 day adventure of it. We had a blast. I do have to say though, $150 a night is super expensive for that little tiny one. Ours is 40 ft, 2 full bedrooms (king size master and full bunk room) and a big bathroom and kitchen and we rent it out for $100 a night.

Love you videos when my dad some of my siblings and I go camping we sleep in his wall tent. We use a cooler and where I go camping we put our food in a bear safe storage. If you guys ever go camping in the wilderness bring bear spray during the summer months. My dad always to me and my siblings his storys of when he went camping. We love to fish and play is the lake where we camp at in Montana its called West rosebud outside of fishtail mt. But the lake is called emerald lake and theres alot of places to hike. Please can you explain your schooling system because I thought you homeschooled but then they went to school so I am a bit confused

I think she home school when she was at her old house but now since they move to FL they go to regluar school

Most kids that are homeschooled go to different classes outside of home. So basically they work on different subjects at different places. Most of their main work is done at home but you have different opportunities such as co ops, religion, even gardening, building, steam activities and stuff like that that your kids can go to if you homeschool. I have looked into it but because my son has a speech problem, I had to keep him in regular school just for the extra speech therapy. It really depends on which program you homeschool through and the opportunities for that system. One thing about homeschooling, they provide you with everything you need. They will even pay for sports and stuff, as long as it’s on their list. Hope that helps explain what she means when she said her kids went back to school....it can be a little confusing :)

Best tip is camp between the end of December to the end of February. Other wise it get wayyyyyyy to hot in florida even in a rv. Been in Florida now 20 years best advice I can say.

We are a big camping family, though we are tent campers and usually set up at rustic campgrounds, (only drinking water and vault toilets provided), run by state parks. 100% of the cooking happens over the campfire. Our big treat the kids always look forward to is frying Spam. That experience runs $13-22 dollars a night. $100 a night at one of our state parks would get us a 2 bedroom, one bath cabin with a common area and kitchenette, on a lake with a private swimming area and a canoe with life jackets! I've never done a camper, but the hubby and I are thinking about it for when the kids are out of the house and we're old and don't want to sleep on the ground anymore. :)
