Thank you for finally highlighting this. No one wants to talk about this but we have seen the change in attitude by Canadian locals and employers towards Indians. Majority of the CV’s from Indian schools like Conestoga and Seneca etc are going into the bin because they think we lie about our backgrounds. They view us scammers, with poor hygiene who suppress their wages, and are openly voice this on social media, and more and more in public too. They are fed up with immigration and targeting that frustration towards indians. The environment will soon reach boiling point if things don’t change soon.

I think award issue was that singer was not a citizen of canada so i felt his feeling was valid, and also when i saw some more of their videos i observed that it was more of losing ethnic identity and demographic changes and canadian population decline and crime and woke culture and also left and socialistic issues.i think this problem is Evreywhere in world and also the crime and tension that it creates in a place is more concerning. And ofcourse cost of living.but also as indians we are spending a lot of money for these degrees and working for basic wages is like snatching basic normal worker bread so we have to take certificates jobs and not try to over work than nessesary and do some volunteering so there is a feeling we are together. I felt so after watching couple of other country peoples videos as well idk 🤷‍♀

Naturally , if millions of Indians ( such as biharis, tamils and bengalis) flood cities like Ludhiana , Jalandhar and Amritsar, will Punjabis like it? There’s a difference between diasporic cultures (Indian, Chinese, Filipino etc) and the common culture formed and bought into by new immigrants and local populations. A consensus around common culture if you may. The only people who deny this stay in their communities and refuse to integrate with others. The challenge for the people that do want to buy into a shared culture is that there has been a backlash against immigration and majority of the well settled Canadians don’t want to have anything to do with the new arrivals. It’s a sad but true phenomenon.

All of them bought their own culture and traditions which became the culture which is today. Even though people call themselves Canadian citizens, they have their parents or ancestors from outside Canada. Several of them would have converted into citizens from PR.
