I was going to get a used RAV4 hybrid, but for the same price I could get new top spec H6 hev, bigger boot, sunroof, self park, so that’s were I went!

As a new Haval owner I have appreciated your insights. Like the other commenters I was surprised that you changed to the RAV4 but having heard your reasons I now understand. Are you likely to be discussing the mods you fitted for the sound system? I find that the standard set up works okay around town but on the open road it is less so - perhaps that is because my hearing is now 74 years old!

I'm shocked sir, I thought you loved the Haval. Please can you share with us viewers on why you sold it? I mean you have to put an aerial in the front because you don't have the brilliant 360 degree camera from the Haval. I would have loved to buy your car because it was meticulously looked after. Especially after seeing that car wash video.

I dont have anything against the Haval. I really loved the H6 and put close to 30K kms on it. I take similar care of all my vehicles and I always have. And yes, as indicated in the video, I lost a lot of luxuries.. But it was a personal choice of mine to do the switch as I got a deal that I could not refuse..

Hi Jordan, firstly congratulations on your car. I know you said that there was nothing wrong with the Haval but do you mind sharing what drove your decision? Specifically relating to the Haval vs Rav 4. Is it resale value? Is it fuel economy or did something specifically drive you away from the haval brand?

Hi Siya, please see my previous reply to another viewer. As stated. I purchased the Rav from my twin. I got a very good deal. I dont have anything against the Haval. Oh and by the way the fuel economy of these two are very, very similar! Thats it basically.. And then at closing, my average consumption over the last (almost) 2 years on the Haval was 16.7km/l.

As much as I like Toyota, their dealerships are very snobbish here in Victoria.

I have to say I have had a VERY GOOD experience when I visited my local (and brand new) dealership for the purchase.
