Schaz, The backup camera, and speakerphone are also very important to me. I spend a lot of time in my car, 20-30 hours a week. Can you tell me about these functions? Can you set the backup camera to automatically activate when you put the car in reverse? How does the speakerphone function work? Does it sound good and both ends of the call? Can you also talk about the differences in using the navigation in the Android system vs the Android Auto? Hi friend - The backup camera comes in the box but you have to install it. It will get activated when you put your car in reverse. The speaker phone quality is quite good. Navigation will only work while in Android Auto or CarPlay, there is no GPS built-in thats why it connects with your mobiles GPS. Pro is a basic CarPlay/Android Auto screen, while Plus runs on Android OS.

Just got the W901 Plus yesterday. Big issue is that when I connect to Apple Carplay, the display works and I can control the apps but all audio comes through the iPhone. I have tried using different audio outputs etc, nothing works. The volume can also be controlled on the phone which is not possible when using carplay in normal circumstances. Disappointed and no help from the manufacturer at all. Also the CD mount is far too flimsy to support such a big unit, it also stands too far out from the dash... it just flops around.

I have the 901 pro, but mine does not have the quick options / settings button (the button to remove the sidebar when watching netflix or using other apps) like your does. In your video, the button / icon is on the screen at all times, even on the home screen, but this button / icon is missing on mine for some reason. Do you know how to remedy this?

hi, great video... can I ask you 2 questions? the luminist is it automatic? does dual bluetooth mean that I can connect the phone to the carpuride and then the carpuride to the car bluetooth and then hear android auto from the car speakers? when I activate the rear camera via reverse gear, does the video go automatically or do I have to press the button? Yes, with dual BT, you can get the Android Auto audio connected to your car stereo system. For reverse camera, it is automatic, so as soon you out the gear in reverse, the screen will automatically show the rear view

I added a USB GPS dongle for like $8 and the GPS works on it. Pretty lame they didn't add an internal GPS chip/antenna. Or you can create a hotspot from your phone, and create a server to push GPS data from your phone to the unit. It works but I was having problems with the server keeping a connection, so I quickly gave up and just used the USB dongle.
