A brand new Carrier Experience exhibition has opened at the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton in Somerset UK.
The new display includes some aircraft that have nor been shown before and there is an updated 'Aircraft Carrier Island' display where visitors can learn more about how such a Royal Navy vessel works at sea.
As well as tracing the history of aviation at sea which is over 100 years old it also explains more of where the future is going too.

The new Carrier experience looks really good. Great to hear that its open. I first visited it back in the 90s so looking forward to visiting the new version.

I last visited in 2013 and i remember some of the mennequins spooked my youger siblings (especialy the ones in the surgery room) but it was very interesting to see the inside of these interesting huge peices of technology

It was a aircraft carrier experience before but is this a brand-new or is this just a video I happened to stumble on

Went on it today. Its not as good as it was before. The carrier lift is now terrible and boring, no carrier scene on the deck or lift down into the hanger anymore. They seem to have binned off the helicopter ride onto the deck too, you just walk through it. The interactive scenes are monotone and boring also. The previous experience was far better more fun and more relevant.

That's really sad to hear. The guy in the video says the new experience had a million pounds of investment??!! How can that be if its less than it was before?

@stu1002 I visited recently expecting the Phantom/Buccaneer launch I'd seen on KZbin. Instead, we had this very dull, static display with no dynamism or excitement. A terrible "improvement".

Well that’s answered my question I remember it before are used to like going on that because it used to shake so sounds like it’s not very good anymore but do you still get it where you have to wait for it or is it destroyed through now
