It's a fascinating place and well worth a visit. I have several times even though it's 100 miles from me. Usually combine it with a visit to the nearby Haynes car museum as I'm a complete petrol head and in my element there!

What was a really interesting place, became fascinating when the Concorde came into view. When the last flight came into Manchester airport lots of people nipped out of work to watch it descend. It was quite emotional really, such an amazing plane.
