Wow! As a long time owner of a HEAVILY modified Casio Royale with a blue leather strap, ALL the printing except the Casio name scrubbed off and hydrofilled with blue-dye tinted silicone oil, I'm VERY impressed with this release! I never cared for either the steel or the resin straps and now that you can get a decent leather strap, just adds a nice variety to what was a pretty basic selection. I'm a little surprised Casio never whole-hog with different colored limited editions, like they do so much with G Shock.

This is the best AE1200 till date.. I’ve the ‘old’ AE1200 with bronze bezel (never released in India for whatever reason) with resin strap. I’m going to have to switch to a leather strap now !
