I really appreciate how careful you are to test the foundation with different combinations of products on different days. I have come to mistrust foundation reviews that feature a first look at a product. There is so very much more to foundation than how it looks when first applied! I have quite dry skin, and this new Catrice foundation doesn’t seem to be a good bet for me.

The foundation looks beautiful and skin-like when freshly applied, too bad it didn't wear well for you! Shade is so important and I've gotten so picky that I won't buy a foundation unless there looks like there will be a great shade match because without that factor, I know it would never make it to HG status anyways... 🤷🏻‍♀ Thank you so much for reviewing the face palette! Hi Carmel, really appreciate your budget friendly videos. This Catrice foundation at first appearance did look lovely on your skin, as you said, not a solid matte finish. Then you mentioned the cakeing around your mouth area, which was a shame. I was really surprised by the bronzer and blush. @@fionadavis9526 I totally appreciate why you’d think that Fiona. You know some BB creams can actually be higher coverage than skin tints! Have you tried the Maybelline or L’Oreal tints? Even the hourglass if you’re looking for high end. You might really like them. No emphasising of lines or wrinkles, they’re hydrating and not high coverage x

@@CarmelNicoleBeauty I use the L’Oréal bb cream because it does light to medium colour. It’s not expensive but it’s a bit dryish. Hourglass if far to expensive for that little 35 ml .
