I know I'm a little tardy to the party here but just happened across this video and noticed the unique burner on this piece is exactly the same as one I've had for around twenty years or so. Great find. I only have the burner unfortunately, but in excellent condition.

Great info here. I just recently purchased a B & H center draft lamp converted to electric and I was trying to figure out what I needed to get the lamp back to working order. Missing many parts and I can't seem to unscrew the very top piece. (I'm not good on nomenclature yet) Very nice find, aye!

In doing research on a similar, but old Royal lamp, the late 19th century lamps came with spherical globes set over the clear glass chimney. These where not milk glass style globes on these old lamps. This style had the globe you have. These lamps in the condition you have can reach $500-$700 as you showed in your video.

The Ball shade in this video was a reproduction from the 1960’s or 1970’s. In this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/lYPQe4CKrLOcp7ssi=WjQ_tr5ILp8SByW5 , this shade is an original 1890’s era ball shade. The brass ring is the tell. I’m in Florida this month and lamps that I buy at home for $60 Canadian , people are asking $500 USD. Pricing here is now insane. People are asking silly money for commonly found lamps. I have another collector friend that used to go to Florida and pick lamps cheap or reasonably priced. Those days are gone. Cheers

Looks like there is a flame spreader a ebay for 45 buy it now. Funny side note I bought two lots on ebay as parts, then noticed they from the same person, then notice if I put the two lots together I get a complete royal center draft lamp with shade hanger.

Yes saw that before I posted the video. That one I do have in another lamp. It is too new. Need a pre-97 one for sure. By the time I buy that with shipping it will be almost $100 CDN. It's kind of a rip off IMHO. I have never paid more than $20 for one. They are not as rare as eBay sellers make you believe. I can wait. Cheers

Is your store open? I just got a very sticky gunked up 23 burner on a clear Washington drape. The filler cap and ring are destroyed with rust. Also need a wick.
