What did you use for the 44 to break it in? I'm gonna be using mine as my main pitching glove this upcoming season & I want it broken in pretty fast

Just played catch with it. Since I’m not great left handed, I had lefties on the team throw with it to help break it in that way. Besides that, when I got home, I worked the heel of the glove back and forth. I really don’t use anything to break in my gloves. Occasionally I’ll use a mallet to help soften it up, but just playing catch with a new glove is the best way to break it into your hand.

LOL. YES! Hopefully by the end of the year. We'll see. I'll have to make sure my shoulder is up for the challenge. Maybe left-handed? haha

@@Chanterprise have you tested your long toss distance lately?

@@JJ7_athletics Honestly no... at least not to like a full extent of airing it out. I "long toss" a bit during warm ups, but it's not anything crazy.

@@Chanterprise I see. I haven’t long tossed consistently. I got out to about 200 ft but felt I was using more arm then my body. My goal till the end of the year is to long toss at least 2 times a week and do pulldowns. Try to hit 300 ft/full length of a football field and see how it translates to Velo and my mechanics

For sure! I will have to see how often I get throw long toss as I don’t always have a throwing partner to consistently throw with at the moment/I haven’t really thrown long toss during the week, but ideally, it would be 2-3 times a week like you.
