@@1millionelixirthey should do a mini bottle of a BDC elixir, but for back to the roots of the original BDC EDT The edt is phenomenal and has a clear identity - it started the whole “blue” movement en masse for a reason! I enjoy BDC EDP and Parfum, but the Parfum is too far removed from the original and isn’t really a “blue” fragrance. Meanwhile the EDP is great and I love it, but rather than being the best of both worlds, it’s in this weird no man’s land and should be it’s own fragrance. They need to make a small bottle BDC Elixir where they go back to the amazing innovation of _Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette_

chanel is slow to release because they dont discontinue their fragrances. look at someone like YSL who has a new frag every other month and another one discontinued just as quickly. chanel doesnt do temporary flankers , they add permanent staples to their collection. wish more brands would follow suit honestly

That’s the advantage of not being owned by a conglomerate. Chanel can do whatever they want because they are their own entity. Most of these other brands are at the whim of either L’Oréal or LVMH.

Superleggera is a term frequently used for hypercars. Cars made of mostly carbon fiber that often cost over $1 million. I have to assume this Chanel Allure flanker is drawing inspiration from motorsports.

Yeah, I had been seeing articles for a while now about how it would be a new fragrance line. Some saying that it would never be an elixir because, as the Dior haters say, “Chanel doesn’t copy Dior, they innovate 🤓.” As though what Dior did with Sauvage Elixir wasn’t literally unprecedented and trend setting but alright lol. But yeah a new line or a new Bleu de Chanel would have been a little more hype, at least as someone who owns the edp.

I want this new Allure, because OG is too cloying when it's hot, and both cologne and edition blanche are more casual. I expect this to be as fresh as Versace PH and YSL Y EDT (if lighter - even better!) for summer days

I picked up the new million the other week. Found it on a military base store, dont know how they got it in since its release isnt until september, but my curiosity made me blind buy it. The sandalwood description is on point. You definitely get that note throughout the use of it. Its not as strong as an elixir type of frag but its a unique take on the million formula that dials back on the sweetness from prior releases. Personally I enjoy it, I see it as a million that can be worn in the summer, or year round for that matter.

Chanel had a luxury watch named Superleggera that is a dark metallic watch reminiscent of race cars . They also just released Comête in the Les Exclusifs line. Comête is also the name of one of their high end jeweler collections. If I had to guess this is going to be somewhat metallic, similar to Egoiste Platinum

Most would agree I believe that bleu de Chanel is the king of blue type fragrances, the ultimate date night people pleasing scent. Bleu de Chanel elixir! That would add a spicy component to the king. Maybe some saffron or other spices to darken, or deepen the classic would be amazing.

Just got my AHS Edtion Blanche. Late to the party but love the scent. Not a loud frag but the scent bubble I get is amazing. Could last longer being a EDP but all around happy with the purchase. Now to try and get this one when it comes out. Also if you have opinions about edition Blanche I would like to hear em :).

@Memfys I have only wore it once the day I got it, and it lasted I want to say the whole wokr day. It wasn't beast mode by any means, but I definitely got whiffs of it throughout the day. It died down by like hour 6, but I'm also okay with my frags not projecting massively. I wear my frag for myself, not for anyone else. But I would sure love it for EB to get better as I ages :) I also worm in an office environment, so I don't want something that's going to chock my co-workers out. xD But I do have some of those frags like red tobacco, spice bomb extreme, etc.
