It's not a true Chanel launch until Erin reviews a product🤭. Honestly, thats EXACTLY why I did not purchase the mauve colored blush. I never really wear the color and even though its sold out in the US, I loved the Beige & Corail color so much I purchased a back up. It honestly is a perfect everyday bronze/blush that you can wear on your no makeup/ makeup days. I can throw it on my lids and cheeks and it gives my face a nice lift of color effortlessly. To me it looks so amazing on your skin as well which shows how versatile it works on various skin tones.

I find that if you follow up application with a buffing brush it works better. It's more pigmented than other Chanel products so it takes some getting used to.

I think you might have used too much product. I really love this collection. I picked up the mauve blush and three of the loose shadows. I have fair skin with pink undertones and I feel like this collection is classy spin on the 90s. I really love this collection.

I have 4 of the merit shadows and have the same problem, but I love them. I'm 60 and they don't crease and stay on till I remove them. I just got both blush shades and these are definitely more pigmented than I’m used to from Chanel. The mauve looked good on you once it was properly blended. Wen I returned the rosy beige shade I jus decided I would rather have 2 of the beige coral shade & not the beige mauve shade at all,it looks pretty in the pan & on some people I've seen,but on me it's the opposite of flattering,I also feel the beige coral shade literally looks like it's a natural lit from within flush in my face & I've heard people say it's matte but if u look closely at the coral blush in the light,u can c just alittle bit of shimmer,not 2 much but enuf 2 make ur cheeks glow wen ur in the sun,it is so much prettier than I thought it would b bc I dnt like any kind of blush that looks 2 orange but it actually looks more of a coral pink that I would get naturally from the sun,I just think the mauve shade is definitely 4 som1 with a deep skin tone bc on me it looked like a dark purple bruise,but it is the 1 that's sold out so it does seem2 b the most popular,im just glad Chanel has a return policy bc It woudv gone unused.

I wonder if the mauve would work as a light sculpt shade under the cheekbone, with a brighter blush over it. I think the mauve shade would suit people who like grungy club makeup, Chanel has that French nightclub all-night party look in their repertoire. It’s actually one of my favorites. I think it clashes with your warm highlights, but could work if you went more punk and dark hair. Just think how shocking that would be 😅

I think the Beige definitely looks better on you than the Plum-toned Mauve and I can absolutely see where that color could look like a bruise(?). Like you, I also use that Benefit eyebrow pencil in shade 4! However, I really struggle to get the sharp, fine, defined “hairs” at the start of my brow that you made look really easy! When I use the pencil at this point, I get thick, smudgy lines that, as you say, ends up making my brows look blocky. Help! 💋

Sometimes if my foundation is too wet or my skincare is still too wet, it can be hard to get the small strokes. I would maybe try applying a light dusting of powder before filling in the brows. That might help! xx

Every single youtuber I have seen demo these blushes has used the lightest fluffiest brush and just touched the pan and then raved on it, and I cast a skeptical eye...thank you for being honest, I am skipping this entire Chanel collection (which pains me because I love them). These eyeshadows from Chanel and Merit seem tricky. With the plethora of beautiful wearable colors by Guerlain, YSL, Armani, ND, etc I think Chanel missed the mark. I went to the Chanel store in Australia. The white highlighter is very sparkly, coral highlighter is less sparkly more like the pink blush that came out. Beautiful. The packaging is so large.

I think you dipped the brush in too many times,I have same blush and these are so pigmented it takes one light tap and barely brush it on. They look much more lovely with a very light hand. I have the coral. But I agree that the plum mauve shade is probably too dark for your skin tone.

If you aren’t sure of the color and it’s not your color,,,, why did you applied so much on at the beginning? No wonder you didn’t like the color. You applied the second color on lightly so that led you to like it better.

It’s not the amount, it’s the undertone. The cool purple, even if applied very lightly would not flatter my skin tone. I actually applied the same amount of blush on each side but since I have light skin, the darker shade is obviously going to appear darker versus the beige.

Yup that berry blush did nothing for you! However, I did feel that the walk of no shame was a very nice change from the wet look gloss. For my taste a little more sophisticated with the eye look you had. Please don’t take offence . Probably because I wore that wet look gloss which came in a roller ball glass tube in the previous century when I was 16! I may try the coral blush but not the Barry and the lip blurs are on my list. Just don’t know what colour

Can I put here one unsolicited opinion? It´s great work that you´re able to do with your eyebrows. But I think that these thick brows take away the specific girlish delicacy that you have in your face. And I agree with the blushes - they are not very special or beautifying.
