I watched a lot of reviews on this eyeshadow palette, and so far yours has been the truest color without bright lights making the colors appear lighter in tone, your lighting is perfect here.

These look different on the face then in the pan. It's very smooth, I think it even diffuses the skin a little. If you put a little on - it's a natural shine, but it doesn't take much to make it "big."

Very pretty. How do you like the makeup by Mario eye primer? Does it smooth the texture, extend the wear time, make the shades more vibrant/true to colors in the pallet? Does it work or doesn't work with certain shadow formulas? Have you tried Cle de peau shadows?

I wouldn't say it smooths texture - but it helps application and blending so shadows don't get stuck in some areas and not adhere to others. It also helps to block out the color of your lids.

The dark brown is close - the light brown not too much. I did use the eyepods yesterday and because I wanted a bit more depth, went into this Chanel dark brown.
