Excellent recommendation, imo. That signature bow step is perfect for off/on in places like the Exumas, esp for charter guests who may not have the best sea legs/other mobility issues. Good range of sizes & highly customizable from what I understand, too. And an alu hull, plus the fat wrap around bumper to keep maintenance/damage under control. Since my yacht dreams largely take place off the West coast of Scotland and/or the Pac NW (BC & SE Alaska), I'd go for something a little more hardcore like the Viggo C10 if $ was no object. And fill it with shock-absorber seats ( I think you can have up to 6 in the C10). I don't care how great that hull is, sitting sidewise at 30+ knots for any length of time will be miserable. Btw, are we allowed to use your yacht's name now ? I feel like we should be encouraging her to emerge from the womb at this point.

Historically, the head was at the very bow of sailing ships because that way it would be downwind of the rest of the ship in nearly all situations. Even when trying to tack into the wind the wind would blow the stink off board by 30-45 degrees rather than straight down the length of the ship.

What will happen if you are towing this boat as a tender, and you are in heavy sea conditions and waves are breaking over the bow? Is that going to become a sinking tender? Or does that front portion have a fast self bailing option? And the stern section high capacity bildge pump? If not, you may have to cut it in clear. Otherwise, you do need a tender that is going to be secure to go ashore in not so pleasant condions. Like a little rain shower or windy day with spray. If you are going to portage your guest to and from shore in comfort that having bench seats in ac and dry. It would be bad to the bone. A name could be(Little Scooter), haha ❤️🧜♂️🔱👍🫠
@NautiGuys6 ай бұрын
You just tow it far enough
@garynoll7006 ай бұрын
@NautiGuys I was worried about water getting in front of the cockpit and going straight to stern where all that weight of three motors might not have enough floatation and it going under stern first. Leaving it pointing at the sky.
@markdavis68756 ай бұрын
I’ve been lucky enough to charter many times . We’ve always towed a center console and really enjoyed it . The one thought you might want to consider is having an enclosed area that your charter guests can escape a sudden rain storm . Also when at anchor , and you need to take your guests ashore for dinner , the woman don’t want all that wind in their hair .

You guys have to look at "Life Proof Boats". They do so many different spec boats from Super Yacht tenders to family boats. Also work boats, and as the name suggests they are life proof in the fact you cannot puncture the rib. They even fired shots at it to show the rib will not deflate as such.
