This might sound strange but ... I hated these. The main issue I had (and I'm thinking I had a BAD BATCH!) is that the texture was fine but the colour was OFF. I had fair and medium ... both pulled really YELLOW and some green. Strangest thing! I really am starting to think maybe I did have a bad bad batch!

Such a shame, my 2 are not pulling yellow/ green at all, they are lovely, Shade 1 cool & Shade 2 more warm and as anticipated……I did raise an eyebrow at the back of the carton at the claims though, I could just hear your exasperation.

Hi Rebecca! I’ve seen a few reviews of this and it seems like the medium bronzer pulls orange and then the fair bronzer is so cool that it looks grey. I don’t think any of these would work for me. Good for my wallet, though. 😂 Thanks for reviewing! 😊😊

Hi Rebeca . It looks lovely. I was waiting on CT cream bronzer, but then i saw Chanel oversized one, and was deciding which one i need. So i decided i am getting this one, since i do wanted cream bronzer. I realized that i have little cool cream bronzers m for my liking. The only one that is warm, and i love its Sisley touche eclait , but its not matte. I do have CT powder one in medium, but to me, its little bit too cool.😳so i dont use much . Mine is arriving tomorrow. But i know i will not resist Chanel one. I love les beiges collections. So i am getting that one too once its released. I think they can be used both . I was watching Lisa Eldridge video and she used cream bronzer to warm up the skin, and then she used powder bronzer to bronze , as sun kissed look. Have a blessed day 🙏🧡

The bronzer looks great on you. Oh, and our favorite Wayne Goss commented 😚. I’m not buying it because Wayne says it’s green. 😜 Ha, just kidding. I’m not buying it because I think it will look horrible on me. Everyone just Loooved the bronze and glow duo years ago but it looked straight up bright orange on me. I don’t really know why that is. I have the Dior Backstage contour pallette It’s supposed to be cool/ neutral and the light contour looks like a warm orange blush on me. Weird. I love cream products so I’ll miss out on this

Hello Tina! But Wayne has a very good point! I am hearing that on fair skin tones, the undertone on this bronzer goes crazy and goes green or orange and we can’t have that! I know exactly what you mean though. To have everything go orange is such a disappointment. We’re promised all these shades and all we get is orange!

I got mine in the uk in 2 days & am delighted! We are a similar skin shade, but I don’t have your warm California sunshine, so got Shade 1 & Shade 2, plus the brush. Shade 2 is wonderful, but will use 1 to add a touch of cool tone and in the winter. They perform superbly, the colours are just perfect, it might have usurped the old CT and has definitely toppled my Chanel cream bronzer. Love it!

I am incredibly glad to hear this, Melanie. I had heard that people with lighter skin tones were having trouble with it turning orange. I love the fact that you’re mixing in the number one with the two. I think that is incredibly smart of you. And I’m really glad to hear it’s working. This is definitely a dream to blend. I received mine without a delay. I purchased medium and have to say I’m very pleased with the color and how easy it is to apply. I used a BK Beauty #107 to apply. I didn’t have any issues with application. It lasted on my skin for about 7 hours. I didn’t notice any fading. It just maintained a pretty golden shade on my skin. I’m a light medium with neutral undertones.

I was waiting for your thoughts on this! It looks gorgeous, but when I think of how I try to avoid shine with my oily skin, I should stick with the powder bronzer from CT that is matte and beautiful. The brush is totally hmmm, Laura. I agree. Haha. I think this won't cause excess oil. It's not a typical cream in that respect. That being said, I'm starting to hear that on fair skin, it's going oddly undertoned. Be careful if that's you.

I have swatched it, was quite sick of the heavy alergic asthma, but gonna use it, of course!!! I have shade medium in that idiot big shell powder bronzer from Charlotte, that fomula is good indeed, but the colour is to warm for my liking. That is why i ordered shade light which is much better to see in a cream bronzer vs a powder bronzer, and also shade medium for summer or to mix with the light. Both colours swatched good and just what i expected on my arm. When i can use it, maybe in the weekend i'll let you know. I’m a light warm olive and the undertone is perfect on me (I do think it’s much cooler than my other cream bronzers) Sad to see the undertone is not working for a lot of people! In the beautiful skin foundation, I am a 4w but I generally am neutral. Charlotte's undertones are just WEIRD, to put it mildly!!! Am starting to realize this product ends up with an odd undertone on those fairer than I am.

This looks great on you. I’m wanting to try cream bronzer but can’t decide whether to get get this as I’ve heard that the undertone is very warm (in the medium shade). How does it compare to the Rare Beauty bronzer undertone and which one do you use please? I love my CT Airbrush powder bronzer, although I’m not sure whether it’s better than the Bobbi Brown bronzer which I think is a very underrated product.

Hello Diane! You are right. The Bobbi Brown product is a very very good one as is the Charlotte powder. I am still playing with this new Charlotte cream bronzer. And now that I have opened myself up to all the other discourse on the subject, I am finding that the undertone is very random and unpredictable. So I am going to recommend to you the rare beauty stick which is an absolutely lovely product and more predictably good, if that makes sense but also the Charlotte powder. Seems like this cream bronzer is very much like the beautiful foundation that it is named after. They both have very strange undertones. It’s unpredictable and I am feeling uncomfortable recommending it at this point.

I like the way this bronzer looks on you. The medium color suits you. I too, like to bronze my whole face too, not contour, like some people do with bronzers I have the Anastasia cream bronzer right now, that I’m using, and I really enjoy that. I would like to check this out in person, for the color. God forbid, if it’s too yellow, or green. 😳. The pale color in this looks kinda cool tone/yellow, when I saw it demonstrated. So, that color would never work for me. Hummmm, I don’t need any finicky cosmetics right now. Hopefully, it will show up in stores.

Her other products, I adore, pressed powder, eyeshadow quads, lipsticks, glosses, and lip, and eyeliners, I bought multiple times. That’s saying something, since I do not do that with other lines. Her blushes are good too, for a powder blush, but with my dry skin, if I’m doing powders, I prefer Hourglass.

With the powder, not many people were fair enough for the fair powder. So maybe they thought the same would happen with the cream, but it appears to run darker. I did see that Sephora now has it listed as 'Coming soon' on the 26th🤗

Hello Trish! We have a family of mallards that returns every year to have their ducklings on our street. I live in a beach city and it is not rural. But, a few years ago, they did some construction at the lake and displaced all the ducks so they kind of distributed themselves through the neighborhood. So, every spring, they return, more of them each year, and we have ducks and ducklings everywhere for about two or three months and then they leave again. We put out water and oatmeal for them. And they sleep on the lawn all day. And generally they complain when I walk by and walk up to look into the house if the front door is open because they know that we could bring them oatmeal. Unfortunately they also poop all over the driveway. Ha ha

Hello Rachel! I need to look on the back of mine to see. It must be refillable. She’s not making anything these days that isn’t and they didn’t really advertise how refillable the powder product was. So I guess it’s refillable but I don’t know if it is. How strange. I’ll play around with it today and see if I can make it move and such.

This looks gorgeous on you!!! It really warmed your skin up in such a lovely way. I would have never though to use that brush for a cream bronzer, but I seems perfect for the product. I love her powder bronzer!!!! I am terrified of cream bronzer for some reason. I just feel like it would be messy and I could err rather quickly but I was certainly impressed by how effortless it was to apply, just like the powder. I actually do not use a lot of cream face products so would this transfer easily? I just have visions of it being messing and/or sliding across my face. As always, GREAT review!! #HussyApproved🤣🤣🤣

Hussy Used and Hussy Approved!!!!! Hahaha. Oh I know. Every time I use cream bronzer I kind of want to cringe. It takes off foundation or it runs. This one honestly blends like powder. I was very impressed. I bought the silly little brush mostly to feel the density because I assumed I’d have no idea what brush to use to make the texture work. But I was so pleasantly surprised.

Hello Beautiful Rebecca. I’ve been waiting for this video! Just watched 4 reviews of yours in a row lol had a lot of catching up to do! I really am tempted to purchase this bronzer, however given that it’s a cream product I’m holding off until I finish my fenty cream bronzer before it goes bad! I am curious how this compares to the HudaBeauty Tantour cream. Also the fair shade in CT looks cooler and more like a contour so I might pick up shade 2. Great review!

Hello Julie! You are absolutely correct that the undertones here run in a very strange manner. We shouldn’t be surprised at that considering that it is Charlotte Tilbury. Her undertones are always a bit weird. And yes, the lighter shades here are very cool almost like a contour which means that on fair skin, when used as a bronzer it can go orangey or oddly even slightly green. It’s giving people with fair skin definite issues. I have the Huda in a drawer. It’s been so long since I have looked at it. I will need to go compare the two!

Hello Danielle! Do you know what I love? That we can all speak about Mel with so much joy. It’s just such a testament to the lovely person that she was. This particular cream bronzer I do not blame you for skipping. However. If there’s ever a sale or anything and you were interested, I think it might work for you. I am hearing now that people with fair complexions are really having trouble with the undertone.

Hey! I definitely would pick it up, if it goes on sale. I’m shocked that individuals with lighter skin complexions are having any issues whatsoever with this product. You know you can complain about shipping issues and lost packages aaaaaall day and I will listen with all my heart. You know I have been there and many times felt completely exasperated that the package went “poof” in the wind. This does look like a very beautiful product, but this shade would be too warm for me. I like to contour and that Rare Beauty stick you mentioned is my absolute favorite. Unless the lighter shade is way cooler in tone, this CT one won’t rival the RB in my book but only because I don’t do bronzers. I only do contouring. Now I am going to go look up the first shade and see if it’s cool-toned. I love the brush!!!!!! You know I battle an addiction to brushes and always have to stop myself from serial buying!! 😅🤓🥰🥰🥰💖

Well, cough cough, you know I only bought the brush because I wanted to review it cough cough. It wasn’t because I have a brush addiction and have to try all new brushes. No ma’am. Just for review. Cough cough. I just answered a comment where someone says they tone down the warmth of the two by adding in the one. But that’s still not what you were talking about so you’re better off sticking with the rare beauty product which is an absolutely delightful bronzer and contour. And it’s just so good that you don’t need to mess with it.
