New Charlotte Tilbury Glow Foundation Stick

The Patrick Ta is just too fussy for me. I know some people have said they could make it work, but no one should have to make their makeup work-not when there are so many other products available that are effortless to use. I think this has been the year of skin tints and lip balms. I’ve been enjoying the balms because I have dry lips but I can’t be bothered with the skin tints. For me, they are superfluous because I already wear an excellent light foundation (CdP Le Fond de Teint-the one in the jar) and so I can use it like a tint or build it up depending on what I want. It is really refreshing, though to see so many people embracing a lighter foundation look and not being so overly concerned about their “imperfections”. We’ve come a long way from the extremely heavy and opaque look of mannequin skin.

I'd love to see the WA bronzer you used swatched against a few others such as Chantecailles Goa & TF Terra to get more of an idea of the undertone. Also, I think the CT stick could work nicely in a deeper shade as a glowy bronzer?

Jen, in the end, this turned out a nice healthy all-over look with just the right amount of glow. I did feel that the CT Foundation wasn't at all warm, yet appeared more neutral or even cool. It's hard to tell when viewing on a screen whilst you're under lights, but it sure didn't appear warm. I don't use the brands you have in this video, as they weren't around whilst I was getting to know other brands here, so they missed out. I'm afraid I can't go near Patrick Ta after seeing images of his products after going bad that have haunted me to this day. The only cream products I use are Chanel's Baume Essentials, a Westman Atelier Highlighter that I use as a Blush and an older Highlighter Palette that I had forgotten I owned. The reason these don't bother me, is due to hardly ever wearing foundation, so it never becomes an issue. Make-up should be quick and easy plus fun. When products are moving about those already applied, it becomes a problem that I don't care to deal with. Anyway, I adore the necklace you're wearing. Imagine if that was full of diamonds set in white gold or platinum! I've been delving into more of your older video's and liked how you would wear a singular statement piece. I personally prefer this look on you. I've been watching many jewellery videos too. That necklace would look wonderful under a double-breasted blazer with a very low neckline or nothing at all underneath if you dared. I don't recall seeing this one previously but it looks terrific and I'd highly advise you to keep it.🇦🇺💖👩🏼‍🎨

I'm interested in the CT glow stick but will use it only around the cheek area as my skin has a glow to it that I take down with powder in the t-zone. I also prefer to apply a tint or foundation to even my skintone as this product does bot provide that. I saw a CT MUA suggest tapping it on once you've finished your makeup to add any glow back where needed. I'm really intrigued to try this technique!
