I’m excited for the cream bronzer release, had no idea she was coming out with a cream blush and new concealer. Thank goodness for that, I hated her original concealer. The packaging is terrible and the product feels heavy and drying on me.

Your Hair. Your. Hair!! Your hair looks fabulous!!! That being addressed, I have a weird relationship with Charlotte Tilbury. I loved the Beach Sticks and went through three. Now I can’t find them. I love the flawless filter and a few other products but am not crazy about her eyeshadows.

I suppose, Debbie, that the package is not labeled because they figure you can stick other refills in? And then the refills do have caps, thankfully but the whole project seems a bit flawed to me and I can’t quite figure out what it is. It’s just not exciting enough.

I'm not a huge cream product gal, but I do use cream stick eyeshadows, like the Laura Mercier caviar sticks and they aren't cheap either. I was interested in picking up one of these sets because I thought for $99 you get three products and a mirror and would be perfect for travel or keeping in your handbag, approx $30 each + mirror but it would depend on how much product is in each and what the cost of refills are, so I'm not opposed to them. But you certainly wouldn't buy all of them.

@@hollygoodwin2965 Hello Holly. I actually don’t know because the website doesn’t show it but an educated guess would tell me that it is probably the same as the thick plastic covers for her lipstick refills. They definitely do not fall off in a purse and are very protective but are not pretty.

I tried the Golden Glow kit today and was so impressed. The eye stick lasted all day. The cheek/lip color and highlighter was so flattering. Everything blended so easily. I plan on getting some of the refills since I don’t need more than one case. These are perfect for how I’ve been wearing my makeup - it’s more than a no makeup makeup look and perfect when you don’t have a lot of time or don’t want to spend a lot of time putting on makeup.

I don't know how Charlotte does it with my insane hate towards sigarettes with my very serious asthma (packaging)🤣🤣🤣🤣and the products are really nice, but forgot them last week, already packed other makeup, bit stupid because they can be easy for a short trip! Or just in handbag when going somewhere. Adore? No i adore my Tom Ford Cocoa Mirage Quad. I adore my Sydney Grace Mel Thompson Tiny Marvels palette, my Victoria Beckham bronzer etc etc. It's nice stuff, but adore in this category? Not much, maybe Westman Atelier than, i have some stuff from them, not all, but quite good!

Thanks for your review!! I really like the concept of the makeup case. It is sleek and portable. As far as the price, yes $75 is steep BUT it is refillable and the refill price is fair. (I don't think you need more than one case) I purchased the one with the matte eye stick and will buy a shimmery eye stick refill. I'm happy with this release! 🥰

Hello Rebecca, your hair looks very pretty in this video. This product reminds me of a giant novelty cigarette box. I feel this launch is a money grab. We in this community love/obsess/get excited about new makeup. No-one likes to spend hours doing their makeup but 5 minutes… I think not either. I think this product will not fulfil us. I rather spend 10 minutes and get more from a look. Many shades/kits to pick from but ultimately they look very similar on the face. Easy pass for me. I love the concept but I'm never in THAT much of a rush that I have to have it five minutes or under. If so, then I just throw some mascara on and lip balm. I bought this in “Date Night” and I’m already regretting it. I love the idea of a no brainer combo already created for me that I could just throw on. However, I didn’t realize each item was missing their top unless I bought a refill. What a bummer. I haven’t received it yet but probably going to return it. I wish this was done better. Very pretty looks. I love when you show swatches in the sunlight. It does help to see the true color. This is a pass for me. First I think the price is high for what it is. Second I wouldn’t carry that clunky “cigarette” case. Secondly I want more pigmentation. Lastly I want the option of being able to carry one component in my bag. I don’t want to have to buy a refill to get a cap. All of that nastiness aside, I truly appreciate your thorough review.💕

Hi Rebecca you are so nice. For me I don’t get this product mostly because I never go anywhere without some sort of base product on my face. Also the hard plastic case for travel seems odd to me. I would like a soft case packaging that included a foundation or skin tint, a lip product and a cheek/ eye product and maybe a mirror. But why would I buy that when it would literally take me one minute to throw those items in a small makeup bag. This is just gimmicky and you are such a nice person you couldn’t really bring yourself to say it.

I feel like there are some people who are just so happy to get this and spend their hard earned money on it and here I am going, "Crud! Thanks for your great, well rounded review! I think this would be good for anyone who is fairly new to cream products or doesn’t have many already in their collection. It’s a no for me. There’s so many cream products coming out lately and I keep reminding myself that they don’t have as long of a shelf life so I’m really trying to be careful about which ones I buy because I want to focus on using what I already have before they dry out or go bad. Also I really don’t like that you can’t take these out and bring them with you individually as there’s no caps. Is it just me or does this remind anyone else of an old-fashioned cigarette case?

I think this is concept so interesting BUT I still think each stick should come with a cap. I would like this idea so much more if the sticks could be customized groupings (mix and match) including a case OR pay a bit extra for the case to hold three sticks. However, this does remind me a bit of the Nudestix collections (their stix have caps plus a tin case and sharpener for travel).

Hello Lisa Marie! Nudestix is better, imo. These Charlotte products do come with a cap on the refills which is nice. But, you’re right, they could have made the whole package a bit more tempting!

I have to say your hair looks absolutely gorgeous😍❤️... dare I say better than the products reviewed!😉 I really like the looks and these sets... they seem fun, but I agree they should've been $60. Also, there is only one matte eye shade, so I guess most people will end up with two metallic shimmery eye shades, which I am fine with. I'm interested in these, but also on the fence... not sure that makes sense... I find the shades pretty fresh and date night the most appealing and different from each other... a lot of the color stories of the five sets are too similar.

Someone said there are only 2 highlight options so if you buy 5 kits you are getting repeat highlighters. I haven’t checked myself though. In Canada I think they are $100 each and while I’m cool with high end products that does seem like too much of a money grab esp if the eye product isn’t smooth. Pass for me. ** UPDATE: I just checked and yes, 3 kits have the Chic Glow highlighter and the other 2 have Golden Glow.

I was waiting for the combo with the brush to come to Sephora Canada but it never did, so I finally gave up and just bought the skin tint AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! I've tried every skin tint/tinted moisturizer you've reviewed trying to find a replacement for my Tarte Maracuja Tinted Moisturizer and this is the first one I've loved. THANK YOU for recommending it. 🙂 And agreed - those CT kits are just not exciting.

Actually, Nudestix has these and the shades are too deep for me but they are pretty and the formula is great. It's 27 bucks and these remind me of those in a travel case too. I saw them at the grab n go at Ulta. Not trying to ditract from these beauties, just sharing what they remind me of. Super pretty and travel friendly tho!

Hello Oana. The eyewands do set on their own. They're less like a cream shadow and more like a cream to powder, really. No eye primer needed but can definitely be used.

1st things 1st...your hair is gorgeous! Love the soft curls! I often wonder if you ever use the skinny curling iron that your family didn't care too much for. I bought it and love it! Ok, now for Queen Charlotte. I actually replayed the part about the price because I didn't think I heard you right. I usually don't comment on price because money is a personal thing. However, if you spend $99, you shouldn't have to think about whether or not you like the product. I can see this being nice for travel, but I'd rather use one of her face pallets. I bought the sunkissed and chic eyewands. I don't know how I feel about it. It is budge-proof, I will tell you that. But shadewise, nothing new. The sunkissed looks suspiciously similar to one of the shades in the darling palette. I was thinking of picking up the Fresh eyewand but I think it will be very similar to the palest shade in the eyes to mesmerize. It does not feel like anything new really.

I thought the shades are all way too similar. I also don’t love doing the same color on lip and cheek, but I know a lot of people do. Update: I ended up really enjoying the Wayne Goss powder after playing around with it a bit.

Hm. So when products are released in sets like this it looks cool but I always end up wanting to combine different colours for my own personal palette - you know? Anyway I really loved the lipstick on you but the rest didn’t seem too special - so Hm it’s a 👎 for me. I’ve been using Guerlain double ended cream eye sticks lately & they don’t drag at all…. One end is a colour & the other end is a shimmer/metallic. Maybe a CT lip w a Guerlain eye combo is a better buy 🤔 I love it when you go in that warm California sunshine 🥰 ☀️

I personally would not purchase the kits. I find that the component packaging too bulky, even for travelling. I am pleased that Charlotte Tilbury offers the items separately as I would be more inclined to purchase her new highlighter and lip/blush

You know, Veronica, this product is pretty and all but the fact that Charlotte has a make up product that’s pretty is kind of like being amazed that the butcher shop has meat. Of course it’s pretty. I love the concept. I'm really into her face palettes, but I'm going to pass on these. I do think $75 is too much for what they are. I really don't like that they don't have caps. If she had caps and made the highlight wand dual ended, with the other side being a bronzer I think it might be worth it. Overall, it just feels meh for what it is at that price.

Hmmm I’m definitely team, What is this? I get the approach of quick easy on the go makeup plus it could be an intro to the brand BUT CT already has that easy approach to glam which lends itself to a quick application whether using her quads or larger palettes. She already makes it easy to apply. Also if it an intended or unintended benefit is to attract new folks to the brand, this AIN’T it! It gives me the same vibes when PML introduced these microscopic eyeshadow palettes with an odd layout. Well odd to me since they were circular pans but they weren’t all in rows but haphazardly placed leaving far too much white space for my brain to handle, plus they were garbage. Anyhow, as I travel down tangent road. This feels very cash grabby to me. We know CT can do better than this.

To be honest I'm truly disappointed because I thought when I received the email it was going to be another all in 1 face palette. Then I got the email to see this set & thought, seriously? I like products that I can multi purpose with if I choose but not by design since I feel short changed. 🤔I really don't want my cheek to exactly match my lip nor do I want to swipe that across all parts of my face, something gross about the idea. 🦠 After use having to cram them in the container looks cumbersome & eventually messy. As you said it involves remembering to turn them back down before putting them back & if in a 5 minute rush it ain't happening. 😆 I think this may fall into the category of everyone is putting out something new so we better do something too. Any ideas? Yeah how about adult crayons for their faces? Sounds like a plan throw it together! To be honest, I haven't been seeing anything lately that has really drawn me in for purchase. A lot of what I see doesn't seem to have much thought put behind it just product pushes for the sake of having something to market. I cringe every time I see another collection inspired by cartoons, TV series or movies. 🤔🙄😒 I'm not looking to relive my childhood though I'm not quite ready for the nursing home. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if we have a retirement home edition of something though passing it off as the Golden Girls palettes might sell. They'll have 4 sets to channel your inner Golden Girl, Blanche, Dorothy, Rose & Sophia. There are times I truly miss the old days when brands had solid products & shades that they carried for years. When the holidays came they would have amazing sets that we all looked forward to purchasing. They also had some seasonal offerings which were hit or miss at times but we always had those tried & true shades available when needed. Rebecca, thank you for reviewing all these products. You're helping the rest of us who are having doubts about some of these new releases. You always make it understandable showing the pros & cons with speed & accuracy!
