I wish I could just wipe down my tires lol. As a weekend warrior I enjoy using my APC’s and Dark Fury. I like using CG VRP because it doesn’t sling. I must admit, I do love a shiny “wet” tire 😍

I found it at Walmart also and tried it. I was pleasantly surprised. I bought the 16 oz. spray bottle instead of the aerosol can. I liked the satin to semi-gloss look. I was able to dial it in based on the amount I put onto my applicator. Meguiars Insane Shine Tire Coating has been my product of choice for a few years. However, i dont like the extreme sticky/tacky residue when i go to clean the tire. CG tire shine seems to fix that problem. Thanks for the review.

From a professional standpoint I could see where using an aerosol would save you time, even if it were just a few minutes per tire, it would make a difference throughout the day. I try to avoid them personally since VOC's are obviously bad, especially for our lungs so at least you're outside but there are some things I can't avoid. I recently switched to a spray glass cleaner and while it's okay it didn't compare to my Aquapel, or Stoners , so the aerosols are the clear winners. Chemical guys could do with a few less SKU's but they are kind of the gateway brand that gets people into detailing so they have their place in the detailing world as annoying as their product line can be.

I thought you used superior products for your tire shine?
@jamiesdetailing2 ай бұрын
For my clients yes! For myself, I like to experiment with a lot of different products. But SP is my most used chemicals and I use them for my business however I still try and buy a decent amount of products throughout the year.

i'm digging the tire dressing because you don't have to use an applicator. Do you clean the aresol tip or is that not needed?
@jamiesdetailing2 ай бұрын
I don’t think it’s needed. I haven’t had any issues with my original bottle yet and it’s almost empty. I just spray and put away.

I feel like using an aerosol cost more than using the normal method with applicators, as far as chemical guys goes there’re pricey good thing you found that on special lol
@jamiesdetailing2 ай бұрын
I actually kind of disregarded cost when I’m working on my own vehicle and just use the products I want to use or try out. I don’t have too many clients requesting wet tires and if they do I typically use SP’s aerosol tire dressing. You are kind of trading some time for extra money but it’s really not that expensive if you are charging appropriately for your details.
