💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Karen has been working for Hercules Candy since the twins (Craig and Cara) were about 6 months old and everybody else is a new recruit. Don’t forget to subscribe and hit the 🔔 for more videos!

I hope that the pictures of you on the couch in that GORGEOUS gown came out well and that they have been printed and beautifully framed!!! I am Greek Orthodox (Eastern Orthodox) and my late husband was a priest. I have many Jewish friends and have attended many weddings. It is so wonderful to see all the similarities in different faiths. My father once shared with me when I was 10 or 11 that when he was at a Bar Mitzvah of his friends son … if he closed his eyes he could feel like he was in church as the plagal tones were so similar to many of those used in our church. In our community here in Monmouth county NJ the clergy had a very close community that brought them together once a month at least for food and fellowship. They would hold Seders and other celebrations to share customs and practices with our neighbors of all faiths. So many of our customs in the Greek Orthodox faith come directly from the practices of your faith. Our babies are given a blessing- naming on their 8th day and mother and child do not attend church until they come to receive their entry and blessing into the church 40 days after birth… much as Christ was taken by his Jewish parents to the temple. I pray for a world where peace and understanding will prevail and we can all live with love and respect for all!! If you are so inclined… please feel free to reach out to me. I would love to hear more of your journey of faith. Maybe next time you come to NJ to visit family we could meet over a COFFEE!! I am about 35 or so minutes from Lakewood.

You guys should look into something called shoulder dollys. It's a harness you wear with a strap between you that you put under the object you're trying to move that way you don't have to lift it all you have to do is steady it while your shoulders Bear all the weight

I have a thought about enrobing potato chips. Not sure if you’re already doing this but perhaps you can use a thick cut like Tim’s. They’re a bit more sturdy for dipping and things. They taste good too.

I feel like an enrober would work much better if the curtain could flow freely and the puddle came later. As it is, the stuff on the belt hits the puddle (or more like "pile") and gets pushed out of position. Maybe that was the idea behind the double curtain on the old one?

It's a shock meter. If it's red it means that the package took a hit hard enough to trip the sensor and potentially damaged the product.
